According to an article in Business Week retail giants like Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s, and Macy’s as well as a handful of designer brands including Lancôme, Chanel, Guerlain, and Estée Lauder broke antitrust laws and conspired to fix prices on a number of their products. To pay back customers who may have been affected by the alleged scheme, which reportedly spans almost ten years from 1994 to 2003, anyone who purchased products from these stores is entitled to receive one free item in reparation.
