A Glam Day With Ebony Magazine and Covergirl Cosmetics

Yesterday photo shoot & video segment in New York with Ebony Magazine for their client Covergirl cosmetics was wondrous. I was honor to work with a crew of talented and outstanding women in the field of, beauty, fashion, and production. Each one of us complemented each other eminent talent and craft. Celebrity Makeup Artist Ashunta Sheriff and Celebrity Stylist Rosie Philidor were our renowned talent of the day. And Ebony Magazine Style Director Marielle Bobo was the host. Celebrity Hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew and her team did hair on everyone. Celebrity makeup Artist Chanel did Ashunta Makeup and I did makeup on Rosie & Marielle.
It was like hanging with talented girlfriends everyone doing what they love. We laughed, talked, took pictures with each others and did lots of tweeting. So much beauty was created on this assignment that I look forward to working with everyone again.
Adding the finishing touches to the gorgeous Rosie

Rosie looks a little like Tamar Braxton
Played with color palettes of grey, and pinks for this makeup look
Two Boogie Down Brown’s Makeup Artist…Ashunta Sheriff & Brandy Gomez-Duplessis
Giving Ebony Magazine Style Director Marielle BoBo a little glow to those full cheeks
Marielle doesn’t wear a lot of makeup but I changed that today  by using blue eyeliner and green eye shadow. Added bronzer with a splash of cherry on her lips

  1. Thanks baby girl!!! I always tell any makeup artists that is starting out is: practice, practice, practice. Take your time to learn your craft, and if you master it the work will come. OH…don't go buying tons of expensive makeup. It's not all about the brand.
