This morning beauty class at Sephora was a full house. It was on contouring and highlighting, a class that everybody wants to attend. What I decided to do was show a natural look using cream and a dramatic look using powder. This way we could reach everybody makeup style who came out to the class. Look online to see when your Sephora is offering their free beauty class. Bring a friend, your sister, even mom if you need help with applying makeup. We would luv to see you and assist you with your needs.
I usually don’t do a lot of makeup unless it’s a request when I’m at Sephora. Natalia, a Rouge client at Sephora booked me online to do her makeup. She’s one of my regular clients that I do makeup on for all of her special occasions. Today being her birthday I had to give her a glamxurious makeup look. It’s always nice when clients request me for important days in their life. Days like today is why I luv doing makeup.
I ended my Flirty Friday after a successful “Lip Animation” Rouge Event being surrounded by my peers announcing I am now a Senior Artist for Sephora. Now that’s how a girl kickoffs the weekend!
I am extremely excited about the opportunity to share my 19 plus years of makeup artistry to others who love makeup as much as I do. Helping to coach and elevate makeup artists to their career path is definitely a welcomed new chapter. Spending majority of my makeup career as a freelance makeup artist branding myself in the beauty industry without an manager, agent, or publicist was a challenge, but my hard work, professionalism, and artistry (without social media…lol) has allowed me to put together a beauty blueprint that now I get to share the experience of working major events: Sundance Film Festival, Golden Globes, NBA All Star Weekend; Speaking events OPRAH OYou; Ad campaigns for Cover Girl Queen Collections, Pepsi; Video Shoots for Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Vogue TV, Sperry Top Sider, and numerous A list clients. I will continue to work those amazing assignments and will continue to bring my experience and the latest industry trends to my new adventure. I am so ready for this journey. Thank You Sephora!
If your looking for instant length and volume for your eye lashes then you will love NARS Audacious Mascara. The exclusive Lash-catching Brush and uniquely fluid formula intensifies lashes with every layer. It gives lots of extreme…extreme length, extreme volume, and extreme control.
This first to market formula and the NARS exclusive brush let you customize your lash look. With over 200 hooks and bristles, the NARS exclusive Lash-catching Brush evenly cloaks lashes from roots to tips to lengthen, separate and amplify lashes. Tapered tip ensures you reach inner and outer lashes. This uniquely fluid and flexible formula lets you layer and build without smudging, clumping, or flaking. Even though I’m not a fan of plastic brushes I do like using the NARS brush. It’s a little smaller then the average brush that’s what I like about it. Because it seem to work on short lashes, curly lashes, thin lashes, and thick lashes. Try it out and let me know what you think of the brush because I already know you will love the mascara.
If you love a liquid liner but is afraid to use it because you can’t get that perfect liner then you must try Lancome Drama Liqui Pencil. It’s the 1st liquid liner in a pencil. I promise you that you will luv their Liqui Pencil that you will own them all.
How It Works:
*High Flex Polymers allow for maximum pigment load and create adhesion to skin for a no fade, totally waterproof formula.
*Enriched with volatile gliding oils and waxes to set in place faster with no skipping, dragging or flaking.
*Draw and blend with four different finishes in 16 shades: Matte, Sheen, Glossy, and Metallic.
*Color melts and glides onto the eye with no tugging!
INSIDER TIPS & TRICKS
*Can be used in the waterline.
*Smudge immediately after application when creating a soft or smoky liner look since this formula is waterproof.
*You can absolutely stack the liners one next to the other, but cannot layer one on top of the other. Remember to treat this like a liquid to avoid peeling.
*Instant full pigment load in the 1st application with moderate pressure.
*Blend immediately and in the “Sweet Spot” as to not remove more liner than you intended. (Sweet Spot=the point that you are happiest with it)
