Oribe Gives Me Sexy Hair Everytime

Most of you know that makeup brings me happiness, but hair is another obsession for me. When I’m on set, at fashion shows & photo shoots in New York many of the talented hair stylists use Oribe. That’s how I fell in love with Oribe, their signature scent would fill the room like no other. The signature scent Cote d’Azur, will awakens you with hints of citrus-soaked Italian bergamot, pink lemons, white peach, cassis and muguet, balanced with Aomori apples and leafy greens. Cedarwood, white amber and musk lend their soft woody notes, while Cuba’s national flower, la mariposa blanca, creates a sensual and invigorating experience throughout the day.

Two of my New York ladies, my client Zulema Arroyo-Farley, Founder & Executive Director of Artz Cure Sarcoma & Founder/Hair Stylist of  Dry & Dash Mia Orzo luv Oribe hair products just as much as myself. Whenever we are on set together Oribe is always being used. Oribe is a luxury hair products that gives anyone who uses it GREAT HAIR! The genius (Daniel Kaner, Oribe Canales & Tev Finger) behind the brand really understand women. They understand how important hair is to us women. So I treated my hair to everything I was able to put in my hair. The Gold Lust Collection gives the hair so much brilliance and shine, see for yourself.  To me, if you treat your hair to a great piece of jewelry, shoes, & handbag but not luxury hair products then your not complete.

A New Makeup Shipment Came In Today

You wanna know what makes me happy…Anything makeup! Whenever I get a new shipment of makeup in, it always feel like Christmas. So when Jane Iredale makeup order came in today I was so happy for the recipients. The ladies that attended my “After Hours” makeup class at Whip Salon all received 10% off the makeup they purchased. So I’m putting together everyone goodies so that they can have these  must have OMG makeup. I know when I buy new makeup I look forward to getting home to play. I’m sure they will be happy when they get a call today. Ok, gotta go…makeup is calling!

What’s In Your Makeup Bag

Today my first “What’s In Your Makeup Bag” at Whip Salon was with Amy Conciatori Colamaria. She came in with her basket full of makeup & makeup brushes! Amy had some goodies, I was impressed. After going through her makeup bag we threw out some old things and I taught Amy how to use the products that she had by applying a full makeup application on her. I gave her lots of tips & tricks for her to use when she’s home doing her own makeup. What a fun 1 hour spent  with Amy. She’s awesome luv her energy/personality. Lots of Prosecco & laughter within that hour that I had a blast with her. Through the laughter Amy managed to write down a lot of the customize tips that I gave her for her under eyes challenge. I can’t wait to hear the feedback when Amy return to see if she walked away with learning at least 3  things.

Thanks Amy for booking an appointment with me, you are a GREAT STUDENT!

How A Makeup Artist & Beauty Blogger Spend A Day At A Makeup Showroom

I always feel at home whenever I’m invited over to Absolute New York showroom. I’m a big fan of their makeup, using it almost on every assignment that I work. I luv how highly pigmented the makeup is. They photographed really well whenever I use on photo shoots, for TV assignments regardless if it’s HD or not and I always use their makeup at fashion shows. When Alex reached out to me I knew it had to be something cool because he never disappoint, check out the last video.

Just a small view of the showroom.

Annya came out to support me, so glad to have her.

I placed a little of Absolute New York liquid illuminator in After Glow on my face, do you like?

Since my last visit Absolute New York has launched so many new items that Alex  told me to go to town. A dream day for any Makeup Artist  & Beauty Blogger.

Another dream moment….to get asked to do a makeup video using new products and brushes that have not hit the shelves yet.
