I love spring time not just for the beautiful weather but for all the beautiful makeup palettes. Pink lip shades is my signature color to wear so I think I found my one from Absolute New York. The color that I’m wearing in the video is Intense Lip Polish in Pink Rose. Do you like? So I shared my favorite spring lip color what’s yours?
I started my morning by getting the fabulous Ridgefield Connecticut mom and cabaret singer makeup ready at her home for her performance. Wendy will be opening for Metro Star winner David Baida at the Metropolitan Room in New York. On Friday, April 28th she will be performing her highly acclaimed new solo show, New SCHERL In Town and I am so elated about doing her makeup again for this big night. I love being a part of her glam team seeing Wendy get all glamxurious, she really enjoys it. Some clients will tell me they want something natural with their makeup for an evening look but Wendy love a good beat face. So on Friday night I will make a few changes to the makeup look I gave her today because it’s her opening night. The other half of the glam team who did Wendy’s blowout was done by hairstylist Maghen Cook of MC Hair Designs in Ridgefield, CT.
If you love going to a good cabaret, the glitz and glamour with sultry music, make it a date night in come see The New SCHERL In Town on Friday night in New York. Here are the beauty products I used on Wendy minus the Ardell “demi wispies” lashes.
I started Beauty Blueprint because I get asked daily “How Did You Do It” branding myself in the beauty industry without an Agent, Manager, or Publicist. So, after flirting with the idea of teaching my secrets to other makeup artists & hair stylists, I decided to share my blueprint. Consultations will always take place through Skype or Facetime. I’m excited about it because so many people who love beauty are living in smaller markets who want to work in the industry but have no clue where to begin. Beauty Blueprint is a one-on-one meeting where I coach the business side and how to work in the industry and be in demand in your city. Not everyone can afford to travel to New York and California to follow their dreams or attend a makeup school. This is their opportunity to learn what to do. There is no quick contact list of names. It’s a business class…no makeup & hair will be taught. Sometimes I get artists and stylists that feel like they’re in a rut and need help growing. I also get calls from people who are scared to take that leap and follow their dreams. They can book 1-3 hours or a package with me to help them become successful. You can book with me as often as you need to with me at their own pace. The client is in charge with what they want to learn, no unnecessary curriculum. Each session is customized to fit each person’s needs. And that is just part of what Beauty Blueprint offers, I also will do consultations for personal beauty clients and quick Q &A beauty.

Connecticut makeup artist we can also Skype if you’reto far for in erson sessions. If you know of a aspiring makeup artist or a freelance makeup artist share thos post with them.
Thank you and welcome to my #BeautyBlueprint #BSquared
All Beauty Blueprint sessions are designed directly for every client and constructed around personal or professional expectations. In other words, we listen to what you want and what you know and build a lesson plan around that using our curriculum as a base. Consultations targeting Industry Beauty insight or Personal Beauty and the accompanying General Beauty would consist of open forum lessons with topics and discussions to help achieve your beauty results
My beautiful Ridgefield, CT bride Lauren Carroll could not have selected the most wonderful castle to get married at. A few months ago Lauren did her bridal makeup consultation with me. Then later that day her mom Marcia booked me. They didn’t need to discuss it Lauren wanted to lock me in for her wedding day. Then last month we went makeup shopping at Sephora so she could have makeup for the honeymoon. Lauren wanted to look like a fresh face spring bride so the makeup look I gave her was just that. Here are some pics of Lauren and her family in the bridal suite before the wedding started.
The Glam Team that got the ladies of Ridgefield, CT hair & makeup ready for a lovely wedding in New York. Sheila is based out of Danbury & Stamford, CT.
Today’s photo shoot I was booked for was in Edgewater, NJ. Had a nice time working with Amber & Christina. The ladies needed pics for their new business OMNoire a health and wellness company. The ladies definitely captured what they believe in because their energy is very zen like. The real photographer on set was Joshua and wife & assistant Anika. As soon as I get the pictures I’ll share them with you. Here is a sneak peek of what my day was like.
It’s always nice to be seen by real industry people as a Celebrity Makeup Artist & group with so many talented peers in the game. Thanks Aly Walansky and Today show for including me! 💗 Thanks Gabriel for sending this to me, means a lot!
The spring item I selected was L’OREAL Paris Infallible Paint Eye Shadows & Wet n Wild Eye Shadow Collection in Poster Child.
Friday I spent my day just hanging out you know in a castle, cuz that’s how I roll. Despite the horrible rain storm I had a grand time once inside the Whitby Castle with my New York bride Kimberly and her friends. Kimberley was such a trooper she handled the rain storm like a pro, she was so relaxed and chilled the entire day.
For her makeup look she originally requested something very very natural, she’s a no makeup kinda of lady. But on her wedding day she was ok with me bumping it up just a little and for her second dress change I gave her a red lip with body makeup and highlighting and contouring. She received so many compliments on her makeup that she felt good about letting me take her out of her comfort zone for her dress change. While I was doing her makeup Kimberly shared with me that I was the makeup artist for her neighbors wedding in New York as well. I knew that Kimberly found me through my New York client Nancy but I didn’t know she was a past bride neighbor, what a small world.
Once again I was asked by Aly Walansky contributor writer for the Today show if I would share my beauty expertise on new drugstore eye shadows for spring. It’s always great to be acknowledge by peers in the beauty industry. Two of my products that I suggested were used in the article; a L’OREAL Paris & Wet n Wild eye shadow.
We have our eyes on spring! And that means searching for some great new beauty looks for the season.
TODAY Style reached out to celebrity makeup artists to find out their personal favorite eye shadows for spring. The best part? They’re all available at your local drugstore.
