Modern Day Greek Goddess Makeup For Donna Karan Market Week

To keep my model makeup flawless I used Shadow Shields to catch any eye shadow I use.
Today’s makeup inspiration comes from my love of the sultry Greek islands. Women are very sexy there and they love their bodies. Donna  Karan’s collection today took me to that place so I created a flawless makeup look that would take you from day to night. It’s all about clean skin, shades of coral, and beach with no one thing being the main focus. To give the ladies a natural bronze as if they were local’s I added Stila one step bronze with the foundation. To keep the blush natural I used L’OREAL Paris Magic Smooth Souffle blush with a beauty blender then touched the cheeks with Milani baked blush.

On Set, Makeup Ready, Now What

Now that makeup has been airbrushed on with Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics the model is waiting for hair. As she’s wait patiently for hair I’m cleaning my tools so I can be ready for makeup look 2. The first look is all about the bright yummy pink lips from OCC. It’s a new lip tar call Yaoi, an obnoxious true fuchsia metallic shade. On her eyes, I sprayed her with OCC loose colour pigment in Clove, a champagne shimmer. The model was channeling the iconic and fabulous music artist Jody Watley from the 80’s with her beautiful head of natural hair. So I gave the model a very strong dark brows that Jody use to rock back in the days.  I was out of my favorite Urban Decay lashes in Black Velvet so I used the Baby Doll strip lashes on her. The rest of her face is all about strong highlighting & contouring. Once hair is done, I’ll probably tweak her makeup a little more. For now it’s all about GLAMXURIOUS!!!!

Bridal Beauty:Go Nude on Your Wedding Day

This season bold, bright colors are popping up everywhere from eye shadows, lipsticks, nail polishes, clothing, handbags and shoes. Not all brides are fans of color and for these brides – less is always more. Some brides prefer the “barely there” nude makeup. The nude makeup look is a classic one that will never go out of style, but it has been revised. Creating the nude look this season is all about giving the bride an illuminated face. Her skin should look hydrated, natural and fresh. No heavy blush and definitely no heavy contouring. This is a great look for a destination bride because the dewy look always works best at a beach wedding instead of a matte face and lip.
