Brides How Will You Hide Your Tattoo On Your Wedding Day

The day has come, one of the most important days in a bride’s life, is her WEDDING DAY. A topic that will come up throughout the planning by many is TATTOO’S, should it or should it not be covered? Many brides fight with this challenge if they are inked up and or if their wedding party is. Tattoo’s showing at a traditional wedding are sometimes not too popular amongst parents and their friends. With destination weddings and more eclectic weddings, tattoos in the wedding party are a creative way for the bride & groom express themselves.

On your wedding day if it’s a must to cover up your creative personality then here are a few options that have been popular choices amongst brides and their makeup artist.

My personal feeling as a makeup artist that has covered many tattoos’ on brides and their bridesmaids is to let your ink show. I think if you have tattoo’s and you and/or your fiance want your wedding to be about you, then I feel that it’s ok to let them show. Everyone that will attend your wedding has already seen your tattoos and they love you for you. So if they accepted it when they first met you, I feel they will not want to see you hide a part of you. Just know when thinking about getting your first tattoo that somewhere down the line you may be asked to be in a wedding or that you will be a bride one day. So, love your ink and enjoy your day inked up or not.

Sephora Connecticut Makeup Artist Brandy Gomez-Duplesssis for Golden Globes AwardsBloggers have you ever been unmotivated to write? Sure you have, so what motivate you to start up again? For me, being on a list of 15 Awesome People To Follow During The Golden Globe Awards keeps me going every time I start procrastinating. To me, it’s such a major opportunity to be placed on this list so I can’t let the people down who voted me a spot on here.

Gotta go, I’m going to get my set up together for tonight Golden Globes so I’ll have some great pics during the show to talk about.

What’s Your Golden Globes Must Have Makeup Item

If I had to pick one beauty product to have in my makeup kit today for the Golden Globes Awards it would have to be L’OREAL Paris Infallible Pro Spray & Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray. After giving my client a glamxurious makeup look I would want her makeup to stay fresh for hours while on the red carpet and during the award show. The setting spray will keep the makeup from smudging and settling into fine lines. With all those paparazzi around who need that nightmare of bad makeup.

Makeup: Color Correcting And Contouring On Brown Skin Women

I always get asked when I’m at Sephora from boggie down brown skin clients what do I use to achieve a flawless makeup look. Color correcting is a big thing for me when I’m applying makeup on clients and on myself. On deeper skin women I do a lot of color correcting under the eyes and around the lips. It’s ok to use two shades of foundation especially around the hairline or a medium foundation and a darker powder.

Finally makeup brands are hearing brown skin women cry who needs a little color correcting and or contouring kit. At the moment my favorite four items I use daily to achieve an even skin are listed below.  First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy Brighten, Depuff and Smooth in Deep

What’s Your Madison Reed Hair-O-Scope

Many of you know that I’m a energy person who believes heavily on astrology. Recently I had a little fun with Madison Reed “What’s Your Hair-O-Scope”. I also took their hair dye advisor test to see what hair color they suggest for me. My hair color in Madison Reed is Perugia Black-2NAA it’s a sapphire black with a hint of blue just like I love it. Looks like Madison Reed is on track about Libra’s when it comes to our hair because I love wearing my hair in jet black with soft flirty waves. Below is what Madison Reed had to say about us elegantly fashionable yet adorably vain Libra girls.

Madison Reed Horoscope on Libra’s: Ah, the ever diplomatic and noble Libra. You are always fair-minded, and friends come to you for judicious rulings in all matters. We could write a poem about your charm, which we’re sure you’d read and adore… if you hear us over the chorus of your admirers! For a landmark change, try a rich, vibrant color just one shade deeper to convey the gravity of your personal style. Style hair with products that’s frizz free while delivering hair care benefits that add softness and shine. You’ll be immeasurably happy with your look.

My Favorite Must Have’s Fab Finds At Sephora

I went to Sephora today to see if I could find some new goodies. I found two great FAB FINDS that I wanted to share with you ladies.
Finally a makeup company took an interest with making a contour palette for us boogie down brown people. Smashbox Step By Step Contour Kit in Deep is an exclusive palette only at Sephora. It’s three blendable, buildable shades contour, bronze, and highlight the face for foolproof contouring, and the specially designed angled brush assists with even application. $45.00

I also found these Sephora Collection Contour Matte Gel Eyeliner Waterproof. The creamy texture, the intensely pigmented bright colors, and the long wearing smudge proof liner is everything I was looking for. I luv the way it glides on soft then dries in a matte finish, comes in 10 shades. $14.00
