NYC Real Wedding Engagement Shoot With Parris Whittingham

@lelanewyork @iamparris @mel_paldino @thisis_NIKI : Last week while at Sundance Film Festival an amazing New York wedding photographer that I had an honor to work with @iamparris was featured on LeLa New York blog. Photographer Parris Whittingham reached out to me to do the makeup for a glam Indian bridal photo shoot. Being that beauty makeup is my signature I was excited and referred him to two more talented ladies; Hair stylist Melissa Paldino and Wardrobe stylist Niki Hall. Below are some of my favorites pictures from the shoot. The church where we shot at The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York is now where my family and I like to attend. We love to attend The Great Organ: It’s Sunday.

Glam Indian Bridal Photo Shoot in New York

Sneak peek; I’m only able to post pics of the looks that I know didn’t make the cut of this glamxurious Indian Bridal Shoot. We started at The W Hotel to prepare getting Uma & Stephen ready. Uma, the bride was a petite and GORGEOUS woman. She has a face that could wear any type of makeup that I put on her. Both Uma and Stephen took a red eye to New York from LA so we wanted to work fast in get as many looks as we could before they crashed for the day. To our surprise they were definitely troopers. I felt so bad for Uma because both Melissa and I both were pulling at her. So we had to tag team a few times and then I’ll stop let Melissa do some sexy hair then she stopped to let me do some of glam makeup. I really needed time on her eyes because that was my main focus for the shoot. 
I had a great time working with this cute couple and the crew was awesome; New York Wedding Photographer Parris Whittingham Hairstylist; Melissa Paldino with Sexy Hair Corp and Celebrity Stylist: Niki Hall who I work with for The NBA All Star Weekend. A long day but a great one.

Indian Bollywood Bride-Domini

My past Bollywood Indian Bride Domini was such a great girl to work on. Domini allowed me to be a MAKEUP ARTIST :))) she let me select makeup colors that I thought would compliment her flawless skin as well as her personality. As you know I love working with Indian brides because they always want bold strong makeup looks. How can I forget the eyelashes that is always requested so I pull out my favorite from Shu Uemura because they wear very well. Domini was married in New Orleans at the RITZ CARLTON. It was an outdoor evening wedding so I wanted to make sure I kept her skin clean in used a lot of bronzer so the candlelight would highlight her face.


The only request that Domini asked for was to keep all her girls uniformed with dark eyes. So I selected L’OREAL HIP Cream Shadow Paint in Steely. This is a hidden gem of an item that can be used on all shades. You can easily apply with your fingers or the mini eye shadow brush that it comes with.

The lipstick color that I used is one of my personal favorite it’s L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipcolour Lipstick in Aishwarya’s Beige #809

For the second look I went with a darker lip color that was very sheer with great shine so I selected L’OREAL Colour Juice Sheer Juicy Lip Gloss in Candy Apple.ABOUT:
