I’m Feeling Flirty Today In My Nicka K NY Pink Lipstick

I don’t know about you but when I’m doing my makeup I am either motivated by something and/ or a new makeup item. Today I refell in love with an oldie but goodie…my yummy pink hydro lipstick from Nicka K New York. I luv the way this shade of pink look on brown skin, a perfect match. 
I’m feeling so girlie, I know it’s just a lipstick but I like it a lot!!!

Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi Glass Collection

When I look at Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi Glass collection ad campaign it validates why I fell in love with makeup artistry. To me their campaign reminds me of a modern version of pop art makeup from the art movement in the late 1950’s when fine art and popular culture emerged. Dany Sanz of Makeup Up For Ever actual inspiration was from her favorite object, a piexl glass makeup case. She developed a new technology of pigments that is amplified with a high vinyl finish that mimics the case’s unique look and feel.
I was elated when Natasha from Make Up For Ever graced me with one of the Artist Palette Volume 2 and the Artist Plexi Gloss in Fuchsia. It’s always nice when a makeup brand give an artists a treat from their makeup collection.

A Glam Day In Harlem Doing Makeup On The Producers Of Harlem On My Plate

Before kicking off my day doing makeup on 2 fabulous female producers in New York City I needed my me time. Sitting out back on my deck in Connecticut enjoying my Teavana tea and zen like ambiance of the exotic trees, plants and lake always make me feel like I’m a luxury resort spa. Since mornings is not my favorite time of the day because of my lupus I always need a minute to unwind and loosen up my joints. A little mediation, 10 pills and time with the nature does my body good. Since I didn’t have to be in New York until 3pm I had more than enough time to pamper myself. I’m so excited about tonight event. My clients will be featuring their first featured film, a documentary called “Harlem On My Plate”.

My Day At Sephora Contouring & Highlighting Clients

Today at Sephora I was booked with clients back to back with appointments. My client Julie had one request, that was to just make her look amazing! Being a great canvas Julie made my work very is to do. After chatting with Julie and finding out what her challenge was currently with makeup I found out that contouring and highlighting was hard for her to do. So I made contouring & highlighting the main focus. Before I started doing Julie makeup I prepped her face so she would have a flawless makeup look. I Look Forward To Expanded My Artistry & My Lupus to Go Into Remission

Happy New Year Guys!!! I’m so excited about starting a new chapter. I also look forward to expanding all of my talents from makeup artistry, training, writing, and expertise. The only thing I pray God for is to make my lupus go back in remission so that I can achieve all of goals pain free and no flare up’s. If not, I’m going to accomplish them all it’s just going to be more work.But I’m not scared even if I have do it with an 90 year old body, I know the blue print in how to do it. 
Now my only challenge is doing videos I might need help with that. I have no skills at editing so I have no clue of where to beginning. Everyone, well not everyone but most people that I run across while working always suggest that I do videos because they love my crazy personality. So well see how that goes but I’m always up for a challenge.
I’m off to making women in Connecticut & New York beautiful I can’t wait to share another year with you all….See Ya Bye & Luv You Mean It!!!
