New Orleans Bride Rachel Young Glam Makeup

This was a New Orleans bride that was special to me. I met Rachel from one of her besties Ashley Barnes Jones, a former bride. Rachel called me a few months before the wedding and said she wanted her eye makeup to POP, a different look from what I did for her engagement pictures. Once the day arrived and after seeing all of her colors I started playing around with the makeup look for the bridesmaids. My inspiration for Rachel makeup was the beautiful peacock feather that was worn in the girl’s hair. I wanted the makeup to be fun, bright, bold, but at the same time I wanted to keep her skin bronzed and luminous. Of course not all brides could pull of this glamxurious look but Rachel definitely did.

New Orleans Bride: Kia Gray

Another beautiful wedding in New Orleans. My bride Kia  and her girls stayed @ritzcarlton and also had both hair & makeup done in the suite. Kia and I met last year and she booked me before doing her bridal makeup consultation. She didn’t want to lose her date but I already had a makeup look in mind that I wanted to do on her the first day we met. Her bridesmaids wore a truffle color dress, I selected a variety of pink shades with a touch of bronzer for the makeup. I stayed away from using a brown eyeshadow because I wanted to keep their makeup soft and youthful. So when her day arrived I was so excited because Kia is such a great girl.

Heading to New Orleans for a Wedding

If you ever wanna catch up with me the airport is the perfect place, lol. It use to be I can do my work at home around 1am now I find I get more done here at the airport. This morning I am heading to New Orleans because I have a client who is getting married tomorrow. My bride has a total of 9 people schedule for GLAM makeup. This will be the third time working with Dr Brittany. Last month I flew back to do makeup on her cousin Mimi for her wedding. I always find that clients keep me in the family. I just keep extending my family, lol. So some of the ladies from Mimi wedding will be getting their makeup done by me again. Tommy a hairstylist that I enjoy working with in New Orleans will also be returning to do FAB hair.

After the wedding I will grab dinner and of course cocktails with my bestie; Jamielyn. Not sure what she’s putting together but whatever it is I know it will be GLAMXURIOUS because she’s Fancy, lol.

The great thing about still having my home here in New Orleans is never having to worry about bringing lots of makeup & clothes because I’ll always something at the house. So I doubt we will sell it. The Orlando pad is not the same but I’m working on getting that set up for the summer next year. This is why I work hard, 3 houses to call home.

Not much battery left so I have to go.
