2 Weddings In New Orleans On A Beautiful Saturday

I’m very excited about today, two special women are getting married in New Orleans on the same day. How fantastic is that and I get to do both their makeup for their wedding. With my first bride Nancy, she’s been a client for about 15 years. I’ve been in her life longer then her husband. I’ve been getting her glam for all her special occasions in New Orleans. So of course I was going to be her makeup artist for this day. My second bride Brittany has been around for a long time. Since she was 16 I’ve been her makeup artist. I met Brittany when I did her old sisters wedding and then Brittany worked for me at my makeup studio in New Orleans. So both ladies have amazing memories with me. Here are pics from both weddings.

I do makeup very well with champagne, just saying. And all of my loyal clients knows that.

Below I listed the makeup I used on Nancy from Entitled Beauty cosmetics. I Love this woman,,,Nancy!!!

Off to wedding number two, like a celebrity makeup artist that I am. Just like old times in New Orleans.

I’ve done this gorgeous face so many times but today this is my favorite makeup look and bridal makeup look.

So elated about using my new makeup on Brittany before I launched these eyeshadows on Nov 14. It’s from the Social Class collection and this color is called “Broke A$$” so check out Entitled Beauty cosmetics online.

The first dance and I was able to capture this lovely moment and Black & White video.

Now let the dancing begin…only in New Orleans style

Brides How Will You Hide Your Tattoo On Your Wedding Day

The day has come, one of the most important days in a bride’s life, is her WEDDING DAY. A topic that will come up throughout the planning by many is TATTOO’S, should it or should it not be covered? Many brides fight with this challenge if they are inked up and or if their wedding party is. Tattoo’s showing at a traditional wedding are sometimes not too popular amongst parents and their friends. With destination weddings and more eclectic weddings, tattoos in the wedding party are a creative way for the bride & groom express themselves.

On your wedding day if it’s a must to cover up your creative personality then here are a few options that have been popular choices amongst brides and their makeup artist.

My personal feeling as a makeup artist that has covered many tattoos’ on brides and their bridesmaids is to let your ink show. I think if you have tattoo’s and you and/or your fiance want your wedding to be about you, then I feel that it’s ok to let them show. Everyone that will attend your wedding has already seen your tattoos and they love you for you. So if they accepted it when they first met you, I feel they will not want to see you hide a part of you. Just know when thinking about getting your first tattoo that somewhere down the line you may be asked to be in a wedding or that you will be a bride one day. So, love your ink and enjoy your day inked up or not.
