Reiki Session on the beach in Hawaii

Brandy Gomez-Duplessis doing a Reiki Session on the beach in Hawaii.

Being an Empath, I do have a soft heart, I feel things very deeply. My gift often tells me whether someone is being truthful or not. When doing a Reiki session and working on a blocked chakra I experience this strong wet cough. As an empath, I feel more drawn to nature and remote areas so doing Reiki sessions on the beach provides me a calming space.

Because I take in others emotions so deeply is why I became a healer. I’m finally in my life ready to accept what my spirit guides been showing me. My ability to detect the emotions, mental states, and physical pain of another person. My ability has become stronger, and I had to learn how to prevent taking on the energy of others.

When I place my hands on my clients body, I feel an intense warmth and vibration. It feels so good to know that I’m helping and freeing them. Can’t wait to help more of my peers.

My Day At The Byodo-In Temple In Oahu Hawaii

img_1027I’m not sure if many of my followers from my blog follows me on Instagram but if you do then you know I have a love for Buddhas. I have a fabulous Buddha outside my home and a variety of Buddhas inside my home. When we moved to Hawaii besides going to the beach one of my Things To Do was to visit the Valley Of The Temples Memorial Park. The Byodo-In Temple in Hawaii that was built in Oahu Hawaii in 1968 is one of the amazing’s landmark nestled in foothills of the breathtaking Ko’olau Mountains in Oahu. You will fill like you are in Japan with all of the rich heritage that you will find at the temple.

Here is what I experienced with my family at the Byodo-In Temple in Hawaii. Enjoy

Hawaii Living: Saturday Afternoon Hanging Out In Waikiki

img_4320-1Aloha…When living in Hawaii, one thing for sure you can always find is a beautiful beach, a breathtaking hiking trail, and even a mermaid cave to hangout in on the weekend. I chose spending the day with the family in the fabulous Waikiki.

My first day in Hawaii my husband Co-worker took us to lunch at Duke’s restaurant in Waikiki and we drove passed Luxury Row. Before arriving here when I was doing digital interviews a lot of the beauty brands wanted me to work in Luxury Row. But I passed on all of the opportunities because of the distance Luxury Row is from our house. I’ve commuted so much in Connecticut to New York (1 and 45mins each way) that I didn’t want to drive 45 mins here to go to work. I guess you can saw I’m burnt out…but it’s nice to visit a few times a month.

You will also find Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki, another luxurious shopping mall. It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!! Inside you will find unique island boutiques, 110 distinctive stores and 30 unique dining destinations. So, if you looking to do some damage to your plastic cards, this is the shopping MEECA to do just that.

Had to walk over to the beach to check out the waves but unfortunately the waves wasn’t really happening today. It was definitely crowded with locals and tourists. Since we weren’t dressed to layout on the beach we kept it brief.

I made a quick 3 min video for you guys of my Saturday afternoon in Waikiki, I hope you enjoy.
