On Wednesday we wear pink at Whip Salon to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness. Every Wednesday clients can purchase a pink extension to wear in their hair. With half the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Research. I actually had a busy day with last minute bookings for makeup.
Home at last home at last…made it just in time to watch the Presidential Debate tonight.
This morning before we started our day at the salon I asked Aimee if I could freshen up her makeup because I liked where she was going with it. I wanted to give Aimee a glow using the Jane Iredale Moonglow bronzer as a highlighter and contour her with the SO Bronze 3 bronzing powder. For the those dark eyes I used the Color Eye shadow Triple in Silver Lining. Aimee luv a dark liner so I traced her eyes with the mineral eyeliner pencil in Basic Black. Aimee is a fan of Kat Von D & Too Faced mascara so I knew which mascara to use on her. Jane redale Longest Lash mascara in Black Ice is very similar to Too Faced, Better Than Sex, like, it’s a tie. On her lips I finished her pout with a Lip Pencil called Berry and Lip Fixation, a lip stain called Fetish.
I didn’t see when Lisa entered the salon but when Liz her hair stylist brought her over to me I tell you what, I got #WHIPLASH. I was having a girl crush moment with this beautiful hair. Pics do not do any justices to what Liz did with this woman hair. It look like a blowout that belongs in Modern Salon, American Salon or Behind The Chair magazines. Lisa was a great client very appreciative of what we did for her at Whip Salon. When Lisa found out that I did makeup on Jennifer Aniston she was thrilled because Jennifer is a friend in her head like so many of us. Maybe that’s why I fell in luv with her hair because it was something I’ve seen on Jennifer.
Ended my evening by having a nice birthday dinner with the sexy Lizzie at one of my favorite restaurant in Danbury , Brio Tuscan Grille.
Today was a fun filled day at Whip Salon with makeup appointments. I luv when I get a mix of different makeup request from wedding makeup, party makeup, and Halloween makeup. I get to enjoy doing artistry when my schedule is booked with appointments.
As I start my day my partner-in-crime Johnny decided to do a snapchat of me kinda like a behind the scene look into A Glam Life Of A Makeup Artist. I’m always ready, check out the fab hair flip but the ending of my face expression is EVERYTHING, see for yourself.
Tre treated herself to a day of beauty for her birthday. So I gave her a sultry eye that would go with whatever she decides to wear.
Erin was attending a Halloween party in Wilton, CT, she’s a going as a adult unicorn so I used pink, teal and 24k dust on her.All of the makeup is from Jane Iredale Mineral cosmetics
Melissa was also going to the same Halloween party in Wilton, CT. If you haven’t already guessed but her costume is the one and only Rosie the Riveter
A great way to end my evening with these two ladies….

Finally the day is here, the Grand Opening of Whip Salon. The weather wasn’t the best, cold and wet but the loyal clients came out to still get glam by Whip Salon talented hair stylist. Owner Amy Pal did an amazing job with her vision and the ladies Andrea & Rebecca, Founders of Romeo+Baglio Design did a great job decorating the salon. It’s like working in a boutique salon in New York. Drinks was flowing and dryers were blowing we had a very busy day. Amy is so well respected in Ridgefield, CT that the community came out to support. Everyone seemed pleased with both hair & makeup that we were getting booked for upcoming dates. I really love my new home here at Whip Salon. Now you know where to find me for all your glam needs…don’t be a stranger.

The stunning Peggy came in for makeup because she was attending the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra with her husband.

Today’s meeting was at Amy Pal home in Ridgefield, CT. We talked about the details of what the makeup lesson at Whip Salon will consist of. While timing the makeup lesson on my model Cameron, Amy designed a WHIP Salon face chart for me to use after the makeup lesson. Great job Amy, you ROCK!
