I’m very excited about today, two special women are getting married in New Orleans on the same day. How fantastic is that and I get to do both their makeup for their wedding. With my first bride Nancy, she’s been a client for about 15 years. I’ve been in her life longer then her husband. I’ve been getting her glam for all her special occasions in New Orleans. So of course I was going to be her makeup artist for this day. My second bride Brittany has been around for a long time. Since she was 16 I’ve been her makeup artist. I met Brittany when I did her old sisters wedding and then Brittany worked for me at my makeup studio in New Orleans. So both ladies have amazing memories with me. Here are pics from both weddings.
I do makeup very well with champagne, just saying. And all of my loyal clients knows that.
Off to wedding number two, like a celebrity makeup artist that I am. Just like old times in New Orleans.
I’ve done this gorgeous face so many times but today this is my favorite makeup look and bridal makeup look.
So elated about using my new makeup on Brittany before I launched these eyeshadows on Nov 14. It’s from the Social Class collection and this color is called “Broke A$$” so check out Entitled Beauty cosmetics online.
The first dance and I was able to capture this lovely moment and Black & White video.
Now let the dancing begin…only in New Orleans style

This weekend I celebrated a special day with my hubby and best friend of 21 years. We been together for a long time knowing each other for 29 years.
Starting out long distance while I was in New York and he was in New Orleans. Being on the road working did not hurt us it actually made our relationship so much stronger.
Even now with my health he has been there never saying “I Didn’t Sign Up For This” cuz it’s one thing saying vows for sickness and in health but to actually really mean it is another. If you have never had to care for someone with 3 auto immune diseases, know it’s not easy. At one point he would have to feed me, bath me, dress me, and so much more. Even now we still have some bad days especially during the winter time. He’s been there through it all. So, I can really say, I’m a lucky girl.
It was nice that Michael took the weekend off, if you think I’m a workaholic he’s worst.
So three days of just us was so overdue. No work and no adult kids.
Our stay at The Marriott Stamford was close to home but it was a quick getaway from the house. Of course his staff called him 3-5 times a day but I couldn’t complain and wouldn’t complain.
For lunch we went to Northern Lights Bar and Lounge, a premier spot located in Downtown Stamford. It had a sexiness to it during the day so I’m sure at night it’s a nice spot.
On our wedding day we both wore BVLGARI fragrances so on our anniversary we shower in BVLGARI, we wear BVLGARI lotion and perfume. 21 years its time to replenish for the next decade because we have a few drops left.
For dinner we went to Saltaire Oyster Bar and Fish House in Port Chester, NY. I love seafood and I can never seem to find that perfect location yet. So we are trying this spot out for the first time.
The next day we had brunch at Sam’s American Bistro which had a very casual atmosphere and the food style was American. The rest of the day we just relaxed put the phones up, talked about our updated future goals and just watch the sun set while enjoing Rose’ and jumbo boiled shrimp.
My beautiful Ridgefield, CT bride Lauren Carroll could not have selected the most wonderful castle to get married at. A few months ago Lauren did her bridal makeup consultation with me. Then later that day her mom Marcia booked me. They didn’t need to discuss it Lauren wanted to lock me in for her wedding day. Then last month we went makeup shopping at Sephora so she could have makeup for the honeymoon. Lauren wanted to look like a fresh face spring bride so the makeup look I gave her was just that. Here are some pics of Lauren and her family in the bridal suite before the wedding started.
The Glam Team that got the ladies of Ridgefield, CT hair & makeup ready for a lovely wedding in New York. Sheila is based out of Danbury & Stamford, CT.
Friday I spent my day just hanging out you know in a castle, cuz that’s how I roll. Despite the horrible rain storm I had a grand time once inside the Whitby Castle with my New York bride Kimberly and her friends. Kimberley was such a trooper she handled the rain storm like a pro, she was so relaxed and chilled the entire day.
For her makeup look she originally requested something very very natural, she’s a no makeup kinda of lady. But on her wedding day she was ok with me bumping it up just a little and for her second dress change I gave her a red lip with body makeup and highlighting and contouring. She received so many compliments on her makeup that she felt good about letting me take her out of her comfort zone for her dress change. While I was doing her makeup Kimberly shared with me that I was the makeup artist for her neighbors wedding in New York as well. I knew that Kimberly found me through my New York client Nancy but I didn’t know she was a past bride neighbor, what a small world.
Today’s wedding vow renewal in Litchfield, Connecticut was one that I was so elated about. My bride is a beautiful model from Trinidad and her husband is a firefighter/DJ. The wedding took place at their beautiful home outdoor surrounded by all of their family & friends from the Caribbean.
When Annya sent me the pics of her dress I knew exactly the makeup look I wanted to do on her in the ladies. So I brought so much makeup with me just so I could have everything at my disposable.
I chose to do all of the makeup outdoor because I wanted that natural light. Since Annya was going to be outside 99.9 % of the day I needed that light because this is how everyone will see her. I didn’t want that heavy face that looked only good in pics. I wanted it to be stunning yet effortless.
If you wanted to find all of the girls of course they were hanging with the beautiful bride.
The food was DELICIOUS…4 of these Shandy Carib lager beer had me feeling really good.
The family, only person missing is 4 month old baby London
I’m so elated about my upcoming Brazilian bride Karen Silvares wedding in Connecticut. She’s definitely a glamxurious bride who will want a beat face on her wedding day. Today we got together for her engagement pictures with photographer Gustavo Tessaro. This is the first makeup look I created for her with many more coming up. For every event leading up to her wedding Karen will begetting a different look. The only thing that will be recycle are her fancy Velour Silk Lashes, their my favorite! Can’t wait to share all of her different makeup looks with you.
