I VOTED

I am home with my family and both Michael and I voted today around 4ish. Ran errands and stopped to buy food at the store and went to Martin Wine Cellar to pick up a few bottles of wine and the kids and I just placed the first batch of cookies in the oven. The rest of the evening we will be glued to the television, Michael explaining to the kids how both parties are doing in each state that comes up. I know it may seem strict that I told the kids that tonight they will skip their favorite shows and we are all going to sit in watch the election together. This is so more important win or lose, this is history, this is a victory at the end of the night…

  1. IT WAS REALLY IMPORTANT!I DONT THINK I WATCHED CNN SO MUCH SINCE KATRINA!AND PEOPLE LL WANTED TO SPEND THAT MOMENT IN WAYS THEY COULD REMEMBER IT FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE! SO THEY GANG WILL APPRECIATE MISSING THEIR SHOWS IN THE END!!THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME VOTING!!!AND I JUST FELT LIKE I MADE A MAJOR DIFFERENCE!EVEN THOUGH LA WAS A REPUBLICAN STATE!!I STILL FELT GOOD!!! LOL

  2. I am so excited for you! It was such a great feeling to vote this year. I hate that Louisiana still has so many closed minded people living here. It’s almost my time to get out of here. I’ve done the south thing long enough.
