Working with the Famous Kennedy family

http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js _uacct = “UA-3446372-1”; urchinTracker(); While in the East Hampton on Friday Christina Haag former girlfriend of John F. Kennedy, Jr stop by the Magaschoni store to shop and at some point she came over to the makeup table. About 5 or 6 ladies was at the table talking while Tiffany and I was doing makeup. I mentioned that I had the opportunity to do 2 Kennedy’s. We all laughed and I had to reword it because it didn’t come out correctly.

I remember working with Robert Kennedy Jr this year at Sundance Film Festival. He was there for his movie “The Last Mountains” and I had to do his makeup for press junkets.

ROBERT F. KENNEDY, Jr
I could not remember the name of the Kennedy I worked with in 2007 for TJ MAXX & Save The Children. It was going to drive me crazy so I finally figured out his name after researching, it’s Mark Shiver Kennedy. Then I found pictures and a video that I have never seen. Excited because I had 2 small cameos in the video. So here is a blast from the past:
MARK SHIVER KENNEDY

Inspired by Royal Pains star Reshma & Deep’s Indian Wedding

When Ceci Johnson booked me I was honor to work with actress Reshma Shetty from Royal Pains TV show on USA Networks. Being that I am a fan of the show I knew how amazing Reshma skin was and what makeup look I wanted to give her. Normally on the show her makeup is very natural so I wanted to give her bold red lips and use gold eyeshadows. Still keeping her makeup classic but glamxurious.

With Ceci, a makeup junkie like myself I decided to use bold eyeshadow colors on her. I selected pink & green eyeshadow getting my inspiration from her beautiful jeweled dress. On Ceci lips I wanted it to be glossy and soft so I selected a soft baay pink lipstick and topped it off witha high shine gloss.

New York Brides getting Glam in Harlem

http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js I spent my Saturday in Harlem at Bibi Salon NYC getting my brides all glam for their upcoming weddings. My first bride Tara from the Bronx came by and wanted a dramatic makeup look. Of course glam and dramatic makeup are my signature look. Tara will be getting airbrushed on her wedding day and because she already has flawless skin her makeup will sure to be stunning.

My second bride Tiffany from Brooklyn wanted a glam makeup and her wedding is taking place in Vermont. This will be my first Vermont bride. Tiffany wanted a dramatic eye with a soft cheek in lip. Because of her romantic and vintage wedding dress, and her 1940’s finger waves that Maisha will be doing I decided to give her a strong brow with a high gloss lip. The day of the wedding I will be adding one more item to complete this look, of course individual lashes.

My third bride from New Rochelle, NY came in to only do a verbal hair and makeup consultation with Maisha and I. And will schedule her actually consultation with me in August. While at BiBi Salon NYC I ended up booking two more clients after. A fun filled day ending by going to one of my favorite places for drinks, Nectar Wine Bar in Harlem for a cocktail.
