A fun day of doing makeup at Erno Laszlo Institute in Soho on the gorgeous Tia Williams was the only thing that could turn this cold wet day into a glam day. I’ve had the pleasure of doing Tia’s makeup numerous of times in this time she knew she wanted a pop of eye liner color.
Tia met me at my New York home based makeup studio, inside Erno Laszlo Institute where I do makeup on their members as well as my private clients. When Tia arrived I screamed because I wasn’t expecting to see her hair all big in curly…so cool! She took off her coat all nonchalant looking effortlessly like Jennifer Beals from Flashdance wearing a loose fitting white T-shirt that draped off her shoulder, black leggings and rain boots. As she settled in I started selecting colors that would compliment her. I never like to go overboard with Tia face, she look best with pretty makeup. I did know I wanted to try Drew Barrymore makeup line Flower Beauty on Tia because they recently sent me some of the products. Let me tell you, Flower Beauty didn’t disappoint and L’OREAL Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur gave that flawless photoshop look and Stila Stay All Day HD Foundation does just that…STAY! See for yourself.
The best place to take a selfie, in front of the crystal chandelier by the spiral staircase
I’m obsessed…hahaaaa
Tia can rock any makeup look I give her.
The eyeliner didn’t pop on the pics but it was GORG!

Heading to work to create beautiful makeup for L’OREAL Paris
I always get asked “What Is My Day Like” when working behind the scene at a glamxurious event such as Golden Globes Red Carpet for a major brand like L’OREAL Paris. I decided to give you a sneak peek of what we, the L’OREAL Paris Pro Team do backstage while creating red carpet hair, makeup, and nails. See all of the video on L’OREAL Paris tumblr page.

Starting step 2 to creating my Radiant Orchid eyes
I luv a high shine sheer lip when wearing a strong eye
Just like celebrities, glam squads ( hair, makeup, & nails) prep days in advance for major red carpet events like The Golden Globes. Today a few of the L’OREAL Paris Pro Team met up at the studio to go over some of the luxe looks we will be creating on Sunday night. Here are a few behind the scene pics to show how we prep.
I’ve been obsessing with the vampy lip once again and after seeing newcomer New Zealand singer and songwriter LORDE rocking her royal lips I knew I had to recycle my favorite L’OREAL Paris HIP lip gloss. A lot of women are afraid of this strong dark almost black lip color. If worn correctly with minimum makeup but with illuminating skin it’s a brilliant color on everyone. Especially if your already a fan of chocolate, wine and deep burgundy lipsticks.
I enjoy this color so much that I am always ready to use on models at photshoots. On set I remember when I pulled out this color a few people went silent but once on the model the vampy lip gave the entire look life. So what do I use to get this look, because I’m sure you want to know. I used L’OREAL Paris HIP Lipgloss in Ingenue #678 it’s my favorite. It’s one of their older colors but if you can find it, grab about 2 or 3, cuz this color will not disappoint.
My favorite all time lipgloss to achieveing that dark vampy lip is L’OREAL Paris HIP Lipgloss in #678
My New Year’s Eve makeup look was inspired by Pantone Color Of The Year 2014; Radiant Orchid. Pinky Purple a great spring color of warmth that looks great on everyone. It’s such a flirty color that I feel so feminine wearing it. The plus is that Radiant Orchid makes you look youthful and it brighten the face. As always I’m always trying to find makeup products on a budget that won’t break your private/emergency stash. We all want to look glamxurious but not everybody can keep up with the looks we see on the runway.
Here are makeup items I used to get my 2014 Radiant Orchid look.
Start with a damp Beauty Blender
Apply Stila Stay All Day HD Beauty Balm with my Beauty blender first
With my damp Beauty Blender I then apply L’OREAL Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur second
Before I do my face I like to do my eye makeup. I used Nicka K NY Absolute Perfect Eighteen Colors. The ones with the yellow dots are the 3 colors I used.
I then lined my eyes with Nicka K NY Liquid Liner. I don’t normally rock a cat look, it’s to trendy for me but this liner gives a great cat eye
I’m enjoying L’OREAL Paris new Voluminous Butterfly Mascara
Finish with my eyes I damp my Beauty Blender again then I apply L’OREAL Paris Magic Lumi on my face
I then apply Stila Stay All Day HD Foundation & Concealer with my Beauty Blender. I use # 10 to highlight & #13 all over
I don’t leave home without my L’OREAL Paris True Match Powder. I use a total of 3 colors to create my custom look. *W8 all over *C8 to contour & *N5 to highlight
Set my foundation with Black Opal Invisible Oil Blocking Powder
My signature blush is Stila Custom Color Blush in Pink
For a little warmth to the skin this winter I like Nicka K NY Mineral Sheer & Glow Bronzer in Chocolate. I also like Carat/24K but I’m out of that one, lol!!!
I finished my Pantone Radiant Orchid makeup look by using Nicka K NY Lip Color in
Heading out the door, car just arrived to take me to my fav HAMPTONS family to get them makeup ready for their annual New Year’s bash..HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
