MAGASCHONI Showroom Two Day Event with L’OREAL PARIS

An amazing event at Magaschoni Showroom on 5th Avenue in New York. The first day was a treat because to my surprise BRAVO was filming the Real Housewives of New York. Had a chance to meet and chat with LuAnn and the new housewife. So that means signing papers just incase they decide to keep that clip. Katie Couric, Michael Rapaport, Lorriane Borraco, and a few more stopped by. The second day Pisco Porton, and GOTHAM Magazine hosted and a FAB event. Pics are below.

After working with the NBA & ESPN Film earlier today I only had 30 mins to make it to the west side to work a L’OREAL PARIS USA sponsor event; The Latina Magazine 15th Anniversary party. Being Afro-Latina I was honor to ask to be a part plus with Pitbull performing how could I say no.  Latina Magazine really went all out, the venue was glamxurious and the ladies were all so fabulous.

Lauren Brenner Outdoor Wedding at Wave Hill

When Lauren mentioned she was looking for a makeup artist, Elizabeth Gardner thought of me. The first day Lauren emailed me it was the day Hurricane Irene hit. Lauren was like can you come over right now, but of course I reschedule the consultation in the middle of Fashion Week. What was I thinking…the evening of the consultation Lauren and I talked and talked like old pals. Lauren knew exactly the makeup look she wanted and the day of her wedding. I met her at the hair salon but I did her makeup at Wave Hill. Lauren hired me to stay with her all day so she would not have to fuss with her makeup. 
Wave Hill is the most beautiful garden alongside the Hudson River I have seen in the Bronx. A perfect place to have an outdoor wedding in New York. I fell in love with Lauren & Michael, what a great couple.

New York City Gets Mob By BRIDESMAIDS

The movie BRIDESMAIDS DVD released tomorrow so for 2 days I was a part of getting 30 ladies hair & makeup ready for a fun promotion. A fun assignment but the 4am call time wasn’t to fun. The ladies made appearance on all the AM news station wearing a hot pink dress. You can’t miss them!

L’OREAL Elnett Car During New York Fashion Week

The New York Times reporter Stephanie Clifford was out in about during Fashion Week and spotted the L’OREAL PARIS gold Elnett car parked and Tiffany and I doing hair consultations on women in New York. Being L’OREAL PARIS Pro Artists consumers were treated to a mini consultations with us. We used the popular ELNETT Satin hairspray, just ask Rachel Zoe. Consumers was able to see why this product is a must have especially among hair stylists during fashion week. After their consultation consumers walked away with a travel size can, a $3.00 off coupon and was able to try for an additional gift just by scratching off a ELNETT card.

Project Runway Season 9 at Lincoln Center

2:45am heading to Lincoln Center
For the last two years I missed the opportunity to be a part of the Project Runway finale. This year as soon as the date was released I took myself off the books and called Leah at L’OREAL to tell her that I wanted to be on the team. Leah made a phone called in my bestie Tiffany and I was added to the team. A few weeks later we received the details with call time starting at 4am and that lead artist Scott Patric was happy to have two makeup artists from L’OREAL Paris on the team.  Scott is awesome so we were just as elated about working with him. Tiffany and I met up at the Lincoln Center for 3:30am as we were entering through the back the production company was already filming the designers outside. So we got to meet the designers and wish them luck. Just like many large assignments we had to sign a confidentiality agreement and cameras, and tweeting was not allowed. So this is as far as I can go, sorry.
