MAGASCHONI Showroom Two Day Event with L’OREAL PARIS

An amazing event at Magaschoni Showroom on 5th Avenue in New York. The first day was a treat because to my surprise BRAVO was filming the Real Housewives of New York. Had a chance to meet and chat with LuAnn and the new housewife. So that means signing papers just incase they decide to keep that clip. Katie Couric, Michael Rapaport, Lorriane Borraco, and a few more stopped by. The second day Pisco Porton, and GOTHAM Magazine hosted and a FAB event. Pics are below.

Pre Fashion Night Out with Burberry Beauty

It’s 6am, Rain Rain Rain go away. I started my morning by going to the L’OREAL Paris office on 5th Ave to drop off a makeup kit that I used for a L’OREAL Paris assignment that L’OREAL sponsor. I don’t think the ladies arrived to the office just yet so I didn’t get a chance to see any of them or fairy godmother.

Then I headed over to the Clarins office on Park Ave to do a full day of training with John Trau, Director of Education at Burberry Beauty. 5 talented artists was selected and I am honored to say that I am one of them; a Freelance Burberry Makeup Artist. I am so elated about being a part of the first group of Burberry Makeup Artist here in New York.  Tomorrow Burberry Beauty will launch during Fashion Night Out at Saks Fifth Avenue. A perfect time to introduce such a iconic and luxury brand. May of this year I was thrill when asked to do makeup for The English Ball Honoring Angela Ahrendts, Chief Executive Officer at Burberry and faith has it that I am now a part of the brand. I really love the quality of the makeup so perfect the effortless elegant woman. I received my gratis and makeup brushes so I will be wearing the product tomorrow. The brand is building so darker shades and more makeup items will gradually be added to the collection soon. They have many amazing items that I promise you will love. So come see for yourself starting tomorrow.

Heading home to pick up my makeup kit so I can meet Lauren Brenner of Pure Power Boot Camp at her home for 8pm. Tonight I’m doing a consultation for her big day later this month. Then my day will be done.

What a fun filled day of doing makeup. I wish that I had time to work the Donna Karan assignment but the ladies all know how I much I luv them over there. Definitely grateful and blessed for my day.

Summer Fun with L’OREAL Paris

Another fun summer event, L’OREAL host a fun event at Gansevoort NYC Hotel with the gorgeous @Sky Nellor on the wheels of steel.

Tasha, Nil, and myself from the L’OREAL Paris Pro Team each worked on a model giving them a bronzed summer glow makeup look. Below are the colors that we worked with until Leah from L’OREAL came in with a treat. Leah received 2 new amazing eyeshadows from the L’OREAL family in PARIS that has not hit the shelves yet. They are still in the beginning stage because the color that I have does not a name for the color shadow. If and when it does, it will be a part of the Infallible line. Let me just say how amazing this product is. If this is just a sample of what to expect from the Infallible line it will no doubt be a hit. I’m excited to be 1 of 5 people here in the states to have one…fabulous!!!!
Last treat of the evening was receiving a L’OREAL Paris Beach towel. It will be handy for when I go to the Hamptons.

L’OREAL and American Idol Live Tour in New Jersey

Sunday afternoon the L’OREAL Paris Pro Team worked the American Idol Live Tour in New Jersey. What a great way to spend my afternoon but with the girls. We rarely work together so it will be nice to see some of the girls.

Consumers that stop by to get their hair & makeup done and was given treats:

A COMPLIMENTARY SAMPLE of EverSleek Shampoo, Conditioner, and Humidity Defying Leave In Creme. In  a tube of LeGloss Lipgloss in Watermelon.

I enjoyed listening to all of the American Idol performance but my favorite song of the evening was by: PIA TOSCAN  her new single This Time. Video posted below.

Kerry Washington gets nude lips at Sundance Film Fest

@lorealparisusa … This spring, ladies will search for a new lip color to complement their complexion. Shades like nude, peach, and bold pinks will be some of the must have shades that will make it to our purses, vanities, and makeup bags.  A nude lip color works well on all ages and all skin tones. Nude is a perfect lip color for day and evening and also works well with a dramatic eye.

At Sundance Film Festival, I wanted to keep the celebrities looking glam but fresh and not overdone with bold eye colors and fake lashes. I selected colors that would enhance them, leaving their skin flawless and glowing. One of my favorite new makeup items that L’OREAL Paris recently launched are the Infallible Le Rouge Lip Colors.  A 10 hour creamy hi-definition lipstick that offers shine, Vitamin E, and a conditioning base, great for the cold winter days.

On the gorgeous actress Kerry Washington, a L’OREAL Paris spokesperson, I selected shade Opulent Organza #812. A natural shade that looks really good on brown skin. To top off this lip color, I opt for L’OREAL Paris Hip Shine Struck Liquid Lip color in Reserve #866.
