My Brazilian Bride Outdoor Engagement Photoshoot In Connecticut

I’m so elated about my upcoming Brazilian bride Karen Silvares wedding in Connecticut. She’s definitely a glamxurious bride who will want a beat face on her wedding day. Today we got together for her engagement pictures with photographer Gustavo Tessaro.  This is the first makeup look I created for her with many more coming up. For every event leading up to her wedding Karen will begetting a different look. The only thing that will be recycle are her fancy Velour Silk Lashes, their my favorite! My New Flirty Hair Bob Inspired By Tamar Braxton

My new hair do was inspired by the fabulous Tamar Braxton. I’ve been watching her show Tamar & Vince and just love her short dark hair. So I decided that it was time that I change up my look for a short flirty bob. I haven’t had my hair this short in about 18 years. I hope I don’t get bored with it because I’m so use to my over the top hair flips.

My First Day As A Senior Artist At Sephora

 
Today the Sephora team surprise me with a beautiful fruit basket from Edible Arrangements. I met with Stephanie the District Education Manager to go over the Senior Artist position. I can’t wait to get started and meet all of the cast from all of the stores that I have been assigned to. I’ll be presenting at a beauty cluster class on Wednesday of next week teaching on color correcting. Then later that day I am schedule to assist with a certification. I’ll keep you posted on my journey.

Contouring And Highlighting Beauty Class At Sephora

   This morning beauty class at Sephora was a full house. It was on contouring and highlighting, a class that everybody wants to attend. What I decided to do was show a natural look using cream and a dramatic look using powder. This way we could reach everybody makeup style who came out to the class. Look online to see when your Sephora is offering their free beauty class. Bring a friend, your sister, even mom if you need help with applying makeup. A Glamxurious Birthday Makeup Look At Sephora

I usually don’t do a lot of makeup unless it’s a request when I’m at Sephora. Natalia, a Rouge client at Sephora booked me online to do her makeup. She’s one of my regular clients that I do makeup on for all of her special occasions. Today being her birthday I had to give her a glamxurious makeup look. It’s always nice when clients request me for important days in their life. Days like today is why I luv doing makeup.

Starting A New Journey As A Senior Artist At Sephora

 

Sephora Lip BoldI ended my Flirty Friday after a successful “Lip Animation” Rouge Event being surrounded by my peers announcing I am now a Senior Artist for Sephora. Now that’s how a girl kickoffs the weekend!

I am extremely excited about the opportunity to share my 19 plus years of makeup artistry to others who love makeup as much as I do. Helping to coach and elevate makeup artists to their career path is definitely a welcomed new chapter. Spending majority of my makeup career as a freelance makeup artist branding myself in the beauty industry without an manager, agent, or publicist was a challenge, but my hard work, professionalism, and artistry (without social media…lol) has allowed me to put together a beauty blueprint that now I get to share the experience of working major events: Sundance Film Festival, Golden Globes, NBA All Star Weekend; Speaking events OPRAH OYou; Ad campaigns for Cover Girl Queen Collections, Pepsi; Video Shoots for Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Vogue TV, Sperry Top Sider, and numerous A list clients. I will continue to work those amazing assignments and will continue to bring my experience and the latest industry trends to my new adventure. I am so ready for this journey. Thank You Sephora!
