Fenty Beauty By Rhianna Is The Best Thing That Has Happened To Makeup

FENTY BEAUTYFenty Beauty is a new brand own by music artist Rihanna that’s represents beauty for all, that’s who she is and that’s what she stands for. Something that many makeup brands have never really embraced. So this is why her products are flying off the Sephora shelves everywhere especially the foundations. It’s one of the most expensive items that majority of makeup companies sell besides makeup brushes.

One of the most talked about item from Fenty Beauty is their ultimate PHOTO FILT’R foundation in 40 boundary breaking shades. Usually makeup brands start off with lighter shades of foundation then every few years they add on darker shades. Well, Fenty Beauty has shouted from the mountain top that they are here for ALL WOMEN of all shades. Finally, so many boogie down brown women will now walk around feeling really good because they are wearing the correct foundation shade. To me wearing the correct foundation is like wearing the correct bra, this is why I think Fenty Beauty is the best thing that has happened for women. I feel that Rhi Rhi will not overlook so many women hue when producing products. I can’t wait to see all the fun holiday collections, seasonal and limited edition makeup items Rhi Rhi will add to her makeup line.

Some of the items you can purchase now at Sephora are: primer, foundations, matte skinsticks, shimmer skinsticks, highlighters, contour skinsticks, luminizers, brushes, blotting powder and blotting paper. I’m so grateful for so many reasons but one being that so many women now have a makeup brand to count on…Chi Ching!!!

Beauty Influencer Day At Beauty Expo In New York

 

Once again I’m headed to the city to attend a private luxury beauty event hosted by Beauty 2. It’s always an honor when I get invited to these exclusive events. Being a Makeup Artist, Beauty Editor & Expert I have to stay on top of what’s new and what’s coming out in the beauty world so going to these beauty events help me to stay current. As a beauty influencer my peers are looking forward to me sharing honest feedback on beauty products. I invited my gal pal Ilse who’s a lifestyle blogger to attend with me because I knew she would really enjoy getting great content to write about.

Makeup Review On Kylie Jenner “I Want It All” Birthday Collection Palette

We are celebrating Kylie Jenner, Kylie Cosmetics newest makeup item, “I Want It All” Birthday Collection Palette on Makeup And Martinis. OMG, we had so much fun filming this one. You have to watch for yourself to see our feedback on the palette.

Getting Ladies Makeup Ready At The Plaza Hotel In NY

Waking up early to work today at the posh and luxurious Plaza Hotel is a perfect setting for this beautiful Saturday morning. When I arrived champagne was already being served. So I know this is going to a great day. I always love doing makeup on women who really understand my artistry is a gift. They value my talent and made a fancy party around it just so I can do their makeup really touch me.

Stila Cosmetics Love Your Selfie Event In New York

It’s the first day of summer and I could not have asked for better weather. But guess what it’s also National Selfie Day & Stila Cosmetics “Love Your Selfie” event in New York. So guess where I’m going to be today, yep yep, you guess correctly. I’m going to be with my Stila family in New York taking selfies all day with my girl lifestyle blogger Ilse. 

The event took place at Hotel Americano on the rooftop at La Piscine with panoramic city views. Stila was introducing the #STILASELFIE collection from the new fall line. The new products consist of products that will get you selfie ready. The new items consist of: One Step Prime, One Step Correct, One Step Illuminate, &  the #33 Brush.

Many of my new followers may not know that I was a Stila rep back in the days. The last time I got to work with Stila talented Creative Artistic Director Sarah Lucero was May 2012 in Boston at the Prudential Center. So it was nice to see Sarah again today at this event.

The shopping was fun, see for yourself. I’ll show you the Stila goodies I got at the end of the article. I didn’t get the new items but hopefully they will send them to me. I’m stilling using my old packaging of Stila products. I’m such a fan of the Stay All Day Line. I love it for myself personally and I luv using it on set. You might remember seeing that I used Stila products last week on actress & singer Maite Perroni when I was doing her makeup for her media day.

After the event Ilse and I went down to the bar to enjoy our beautiful night out in New York City.

What’s Your Favorite Waterproof Drugstore Mascara

When freelance writer Lindsay Cohn with the Today Show asked me about my favorite waterproof drugstore mascara it was a no brainier for me. I’m sure many of you who has been following me for sometime now could probably answer that question because I’m always talking about it. At Beautycon Did You Stop By CoverGirl Garden Glam Booth

Just arrived to Brooklyn Cruise Terminal at 7:25 am

Remember when I shared with you that I was going to be reunited with CoverGirl cosmetics again. This is the big event I was speaking about. I was asked to be the makeup artist for CoverGirl at their booth at Beautycon Festival. The CoverGirl booth was brilliantly designed. Everyone that stopped by could not get enough selfies with the Garden Glam branded foliage wall. I knew that us girls was going to luv it but I was surprised to see how the guys responded. Consumers was able to lounge, recharge, snack, and play games. Some of the giveaways were a full size bottle of Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation, a full size Melting Pout Gel Liquid Lipstick, and a full size of Total Tease Mascara. Before the event I gave the Brand Ambassadors each one of the 3 CoverGirl makeup looks; #ATHLEISUREBEAUTY #NOMAKEUPMAKEUP & #NUDEGLAM


As the makeup artist I assisted consumers with selecting their correct foundation shade using their new Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation. At various time the Brand Ambassador will bring over to me contest winners who will receive a mini consultation with me. CoverGirl also had 4 Beauty Influencers; Ellarie @ellarie, Nura @nuralailalov, Kelsey @k.els.e.y, and Melissa @lovemelisamichelle at the booth to do meet-in-greet with the consumers. I was also asked to do a few social media videos speaking to bloggers about the products and I also did a few photo op’s when asked.

All the fab was put together by this amazing woman Bonnie. I met Bonnie in 2008 and we worked a lot of fun events together. So when she reached out to me I said YES without knowing anything about it. Bonnie don’t touch nothing simple everything is major if she’s involved. So she was the highlight of the event for ME!
