17. L’OREAL Paris EverCreme Deep Nourish Conditioner
“To bring back dry, overexposed hair that has been soaking in the sun and pool this summer, I suggest this conditioner with apricot oil. Treat your hair to a deep-moisturizing conditioner that will help nourish it back to a soft, silky texture. Plus, it’s gentle on colored hair and there are no harsh sulfates or salt that will strip it,” said celebrity makeup artist Brandy Gomez-Duplessis, whose clients include Erin Andrews, Allison Janney and Jordin Sparks.
Once again I was invited by the Today show to offer a beauty testimony. Today’s content is on SPF -infused drugstore makeup. As a makeup artist, a beauty expert, and a beauty influencer it’s why I work hard and always give my best artistry because it’s an honor to be asked.
You already know that sunscreen is a summer essential, but what you might not realize is how many different ways you can shield against sun’s harmful rays. While you should always start with traditional sprays and lotions as your base, mineral powders and, yes, even foundation can help protect your skin while looking flawless.
You don’t have to travel far to score summer-friendly face makeup; many of the best formulas are available at your local drugstore. From SPF-infused foundation to BB cream, these are the protective products to stock up on right now.
When freelance writer Lindsay Cohn with the Today Show asked me about my favorite waterproof drugstore mascara it was a no brainier for me. I’m sure many of you who has been following me for sometime now could probably answer that question because I’m always talking about it. My favorite mascara hands downs is L’OREAL Paris Voluminious Mascara in Carbon Black. Here is the link to the full article on the Today’s show page.
I would love to hear about your favorite waterproof mascara?
When you find a foundation that can handle New Orleans 98 degree weather in you still look beat, yass!!! I’m wearing L’OREAL Paris Infalliable Pro-Glow Foundation. It’s definitely a long wearing foundation that’s buildable to make it a full coverage foundation. I actually like to mix 211 Creme Cafe & 212 Cocoa together to get a custom color. Then finish with Infallible Pro-Spray and Set for a lasting glow look…SLAY!!!
Infallible Pro-Spray & Set Makeup Extender Setting Spray
Today I had to post about a throwback of a makeup assignment that I did with my girl crush, french fashion blogger, street style photographer, & fashion illustrator Garance Dore. I have been a fan of her’s for years so when I received the call that I was going to be doing her makeup I was so jubilant. You can only imagine how I felt when the publicist at L’OREAL Paris told me that I was going to be going to her home. I was going to do a practice run for her appearance to the CFDA Award Night. She was being honored that evening for what she brought to the fashion world. I knew how big this event was for her so the pressure was on.
Two days later I was back at her home getting her ready for a major event in the fashion industry. We had so much fun that evening, laughing and taking selfies, and tweeting the entire evening. To get a call back to work with her a few more times after was always a highlight. The purpose of this post is to share with you that if you put it out there what you want to do with your career it WILL happen. Your hard work will pay off, others will see your hard work & talent. Just be patient.
What a beautiful Monday…I woke up feeling like how Ciara look on the cover of Essence magazine May issue. Feeling good, pain free, no lupus flare up’s and/or body pain. My mood today is everything in this picture. With a no makeup makeup look, smelling delicious like spring with an effortless pop of color on the cheeks in lips while enjoying the view of the lake from home. This is the way that I would like to start my week off.
Spring is here so I need some new lip colors to rock. With so many new brands, shades, and textures I can’t decide what to buy, glossy wands, the shine free looks, crayons, or long wearing. In my beauty arsenal I have bold bright yummy colors that look good on me that’s for sure. I have my eyes on some new goodies that I can’t wait to grace my lips with. Here are at least 4 lip products I have my eyes on that range from drugstore to luxury brands.
When I received a text last month from the fabulous Lifestyle Blogger Nash of FABULATINA about doing her makeup for her 40th Birthday Bash I was so elated. Whenever Nash call for makeup that means she’s doing something glamxurious.
I met Nash years back when she was with L’OREAL Paris and I was on the L’OREAL Paris Pro Makeup Team. I would do her makeup in her office before attending any big L’OREAL Paris event.
After leaving L’OREAL Paris and starting FABULATINA, Nash hired me for a fun photo shoot with Theodora & Callum. So, I guess your wondering what makeup did I use on a FABULOUS girl like Nashelly Messina? I made sure I had the best lashes & highlighter! See for yourself.
Two lipstick shades that will always be classic on the red carpet are pink and red lip colors. Pink ladies, whose pledge is to act cool, to look cool and to be cool, til death do us part-think pink!. Many sassy and expressive actress like Jennifer Lawrence and music artist Katy Perry has been seen in videos, and in magazines wearing bright pink lips. Bright pink lipsticks are fun and youthful on everyone. It’s a great color for day and night. Plus bold pink lips allows you to wear a strong eye.
Now cherry bombs scream Hello Daddy! Hello Mom! I’m your ch ch ch chch cherry bomb
Hello world I’m your wild girl, I’m your ch ch ch ch ch cherry bomb. Daring and sultry ladies like music artists Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera are always seen wearing there signature red lips. Bold red lips is a lipstick color that makes you feel sexy. Despite misconception, every woman can wear a bold red lipstick. It’s dramatic, it’s flirty and it calls for a double take.
L’OREAL Paris Infallible Le Rouge lipsticks Fearless Fuschia and Bold Bordeaux are two fun shades that will be great on all skintone. The Infallible Le Rouge lipsticks are bold in color, creamy, moist, and hydrating to the lips. The best part about the Infallible Le Rouge lipsticks is it offers up to 10 hours of wear without drying your lips. So Glamxuriously spoil yourself with L’Oreal Paris’ playful pinks or rich reds, whether your a Pink Lady or Cherry Bomb…. you’re worth it.
Here are others non L’OREAL Paris pink and red lip colors that I luv.
