Makeup Monday: Staying Hydrated With Flawless Makeup This Summer

There’s no doubt about it, summer is officially here. The sun has never been a bestie to us ladies who love to wear makeup during the summer. Every summer, I have to find ways to keep my body cool and my makeup flawless. The secret to keeping my skin from looking dull and lifeless has been hydration.

Using a hydrating mist keeps my skin hydrated, refreshed, and I find it helps to set my makeup. Leaving me feeling and looking fresh with a health face glow. Hydration mist keeps my skin from becoming dry and lackluster, whether I’m laying out on the beach, traveling, walking, or working outdoors. The best summer treat you can give to your face is a hydration mist. It helps to nourish, moisturize, soothe, rejuvenate, and energize the skin with sexy epidermal cocktails of spring rose water and natural extracts with anti-oxidant to provide instant relief from the heat this summer.
Here are a few of my favorite hydration mists that I think you will never want to leave your home without.

Evian Spray Brumisateur Mineral Water-Evian Spray Brumisateur Mineral Water contains a natural pH balance with a blend of minerals to help hydrate and protect your skin. If you are looking for a basic facial mist with only minerals and water, then Evian is your brand. 5oz $12.00
Caudalie Beauty Elixi-Caudalie Beauty Elixi- Part-toner, part-serum mist of essential oils and plant active ingredients. Smooth the skin, tightens the pores, and provides an instant burst of radiance, as it stimulates microcirculation. 1oz $18.00
Clarins Fix’ Makeup-Clarins Fix’ Makeup will help to set any makeup and help it stay through the day. The mist will also refresh, rehydrate, and restore your skin with grapefruit and vitamin C. The big difference with this mist is that is has a “protective 3D film-forming polymer” that will set your makeup and keep it looking flawless all day. 1oz $23.00
Make Up For Ever Mist and Fix-Mist and Fix by Makeup Forever is great to use after your makeup application to help set your makeup and keep in place longer, which means less touch-ups. It also helps to protect your skin from things like pollution and temperature changes, while keeping your skin hydrated at the same time. 4.22oz $29.00
Maya Spring Water Facial Mist Pure-With it´s clean, mineral-rich and pH neutral water from Skogshorn in Hemsedal, MAYAWATER is an absolute must to revitalize and cleanse dry, tired skin. Use on skin exposed to pollution, or simply to freshen up your make-up during the day. The more you spray, the more moisture you replenish your skin with, making wrinkles and fine lines appear reduced. The fine spray allows the skin to absorb the water immediately, helping to nourish, cleanse and apply moisture on bare skin, or over your make up. 150ml $32.00
La Mer The Mist-The highly charged waters in this refreshing mist help heal, hydrate and rebalance even the driest complexions. The Mist creates a special negative ion-rich environment that instantly shifts skin’s energy level, visibly uplifting and reviving lethargic skin. Marine and botanical extracts soothe surface irritations and gently relax dry lines to restore skin’s appearance. Also, this product is great for men after shaving. $55.00

Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist-A gentle, aromatic toner to refresh your skin and spirits. A quick spritz of this divinely scented face mist is all you need to refresh your skin and revitalize your spirits. It purifies and tones while providing lasting hydration and restoring suppleness. 3.4 oz $86.00
