Yay…Our Beauty Blenders Are Here

I’ve been waiting for this package to arrive, and finally it’s here!

I’m so happy to announce Whip Salon is now selling Beauty Blender. Every makeup lover must have beauty tool.

What I love the most about using beauty blenders is that you don’t need face makeup brushes in your makeup bag. This cute pink sponge will give you a flawless makeup finish. We have the original, the white for sensitive skin, the black if you use dark colors and long wearing foundation, & the mini greens are great for concealers, highlighting & contouring.

Behind The Scenes At A New York Photo Shoot

The fabulous and gorgeous Founder and Executive Director Zulema Arroyo-Farley of Artz Cure Sarcoma was recently featured in Ocean Drive Puerto Rico magazine. The photo shoot was shot at her beautiful home on the Upper East Side in New York. Zulema is being featured because of her fight with sarcoma and how she work really hard at bringing awareness to sarcoma. Zulema and I met through a mutual friend Lifestyle Blogger Nashelly of Fabulatina. This superwoman Zulema not only is fighting sarcoma she’s also fighting lupus, so that’s how we bonded. I’m always so proud of Zulema, she just never stop, she goes hard everyday. So when she asked me to be a part of her glam team I was definitely honored. This photo shoot was so FAB, I took tons of pics & videos to share with you. If you have time check out her site because this beauty has a great story.

I Love Doing Face Charts For My Clients

Had a great time with my client Rebekkah Lavalley today at Whip Salon. I luv how her face looked and right after I felt like playing with a face chart. I haven’t done a face charts in months it’s time that I start doing them again cuz I’m getting rusty. I used all of Jane Iredale makeup on her to create this look. I always like when my clients come in and say give me bold eyes. So I did just that, I gave her soap opera eyes my favorite kind.

Friday Was Really A Sexy Day At Work

Can I just say that today was EVERYTHING! I was so busy with so many different services that I was definitely fulfilled with it all. I wish that I had two more hands to help capture my day today. I luv when I get booked for a variety of services; pretty pouts, sultry eyes, eye brow shaping, glam makeup, lashes, and makeup lessons.

One of my clients today was Rosemarie who came in to do a makeup lesson with me. I actually enjoy my Makeup Lessons & What’s In Your Bag services because I really get to learn my clients. I get to look into their makeup bags to see what makeup goodies they like. Rosemarie and I had such a great time I don’t even know how we finished it on time.

It’s 6pm so let the Holiday Stroll begin, the stroll was from 6pm-8pm. We had a great turn out, Art Meets Makeup Artistry. I met a lot of great people tonight, kids, teens ladies, & men. I wish I had time to capture pics of artist Allison Meyler the other person who was a part of this cool art event with me. #HERESJOHNNY

Smooth Luxurious Eye Shadow For The Holidays

This is my favorite time of year because during the holiday season I love to play with a lot of bold colors and shimmery products. It’s the perfect time to have fun with your makeup. One of my new favorite item this year is Jane Iredale Eye Shere Liquid Eye Shadow.

What I like about these liquid eye shadows is that it’s a fast drying long wearing shadow that will last all day. The texture is very smooth and easy to apply. Once dry the shadows will not crease or smear so you don’t have to worry about touching up the vibrant colors. They come in 4 beautiful shades: Brown Silk, Champagne Silk, Peach Silk & Teal Silk.

So don’t just let your jewelry be the only thing that bling, bring shimmer lids into your holiday look.

Do You Need Help With Your Brows

Your eye brow shape can change how the shape of your face looks. Knowing the shape of your face is the first step to creating your most beautiful look. A perfect brow is very important because it’s the frame of the face and one of the first things everyone looks at.

When at Whip Salon I luv using Jane Iredale Great Shape Eyebrow Kit. This fabulous kit includes everything you need to have gorgeous eyebrows. If you want to create the perfect frame, this kit is a must! It’s water resistant, the wax is a botanical formula that will nourish and protect your brows. Inside the rose gold mirrored compact you get a travel size dual ended applicator that will leave you looking fancy on the go.

If I want more definition added to the brows I’ll use the Jane Iredale Retractable Pencils. If precise is what your looking for the precision tip is a great way to fill the brows in with. They come in 3 shades leaving you with Instagram brows that is long lasting so you don’t have to worry about smudging. The pencil reminds me of Anastasia Of Beverly Hills just mineral base.

If you want very natural brows just with a tint of color then I reach for Jane Iredale PureBrow Brow Gel. It’s great for unruly brows because it holds the brows in place. Perfect for anyone who is experiencing grey eyebrows, the tint gives you enough color to cover them. If you want to be creative you can also use the brow gels as a mascara, just saying. Plus, the algae extract helps to conditions your brows making them healthy.

 So I saved the best for last, my must have brow products is Jane Iredale PURELASH Lash Extender & Conditioner. I luv this treatment because it does just that. It also has the algae extract so your receiving the conditioner that help to make them health. Plus, the panthenol has Vitamin B, which gives the brows an extra boost of condition. When you apply it first your using it as a primer so this will make your brows thicker that gives a fuller effect. Yes, you can use it day and at night. This step will help to make them stronger.

Creating Makeup Videos At Work Today

 

Johnny turned a regular day at work today into a production set for me at least. He suggested that we do a new post for one of my makeup services at Whip Salon called “What’s In Your Makeup Bag”. So here my crazy self go in suggest that we also do a video showing what’s really in my makeup bag. My poor Dior cosmetic bag is so full that I can’t even zip it because I’m afraid that I’ll break it. But what is a girl to do, I can’t help how much makeup I roll with daily, lol.

So below you will see a few funny videos that I think you will luv. I had a blast filming with Johnny. He goes hard for all of this, that’s why we make a great team.

If you pay close attention you will hear Johnny say “Quiet On Set” luvvvvvv!!!! Johnny was my inspiration of making the video black & white because he had this Hollywood classic look going on. I wish you could appreciate his fashion today.

A New Makeup Shipment Came In Today

You wanna know what makes me happy…Anything makeup! Whenever I get a new shipment of makeup in, it always feel like Christmas. So when Jane Iredale makeup order came in today I was so happy for the recipients. The ladies that attended my “After Hours” makeup class at Whip Salon all received 10% off the makeup they purchased. So I’m putting together everyone goodies so that they can have these  must have OMG makeup. I know when I buy new makeup I look forward to getting home to play. I’m sure they will be happy when they get a call today. Ok, gotta go…makeup is calling!

What’s In Your Makeup Bag

Today my first “What’s In Your Makeup Bag” at Whip Salon was with Amy Conciatori Colamaria. She came in with her basket full of makeup & makeup brushes! Amy had some goodies, I was impressed. After going through her makeup bag we threw out some old things and I taught Amy how to use the products that she had by applying a full makeup application on her. I gave her lots of tips & tricks for her to use when she’s home doing her own makeup. What a fun 1 hour spent  with Amy. She’s awesome luv her energy/personality. Lots of Prosecco & laughter within that hour that I had a blast with her. Through the laughter Amy managed to write down a lot of the customize tips that I gave her for her under eyes challenge. I can’t wait to hear the feedback when Amy return to see if she walked away with learning at least 3  things.

How A Makeup Artist & Beauty Blogger Spend A Day At A Makeup Showroom

I always feel at home whenever I’m invited over to Absolute New York showroom. I’m a big fan of their makeup, using it almost on every assignment that I work. I luv how highly pigmented the makeup is. They photographed really well whenever I use on photo shoots, for TV assignments regardless if it’s HD or not and I always use their makeup at fashion shows. When Alex reached out to me I knew it had to be something cool because he never disappoint, check out the last video.
