Have You Tried The Brazilian Bum Bum Cream

During the summer every girl wants a cellulite free, tight body as they head out to the beach. I received a sample size of Sol de Janiero Brazilian Bum Bum Cream in my gratis from Sephora. So after hearing all the fuss about it from the Sephora cast I couldn’t wait to try it out. Boy, were they right!! This might be the most moisturizing cream I have every felt that absorb really fast on the skin. The glow that you see is from the mica follow by the conditioning coconut oil leaving the skin extremely soft like a baby skin. On my boogie down brown skin, it had my skin looking very glistening. On a tan body it will make you look so irresistible. The only disappoint thing for me is that at the present time I cannot smell, nada. So I had to rely on my husband to tell me how the cream smell. I asked him what adjective would I use, he said AMAZING! The scent is a pistachio caramel that last all day. A great decadent summer scent and a cream that will leave your body bringing all the boys to the beach.

Some Comfort Food From Hoodoo BBQ

After a rough week of watching the news over useless killings I needed some comfort food to make me feel better. Still not knowing where to go in Connecticut for my New Orleans style food I asked around and Hoodoo Brown BBQ in Ridgefield came up a few times so off I went. The ambiance was very casual, the staff was friendly, the prices was good and the portions was plentiful. Of course I didn’t forget about the taste. Everything came out warm I wish the temperature was hotter with a little more seasoning. Overall I would definitely go back with both family & friends. This could be a regular stop for me and next time I’ll check out the bar.

A Little Pampering Service Is What A Girl Need

While having a little ME TIME I’m going over my notes one last time before tomorrow beauty cluster class that I’ll be teaching in West Farms, CT. I normally go to Cool Nail Spa in Brookfield because it’s 5mins from my home. Each time I have visited here I have gotten Zoey, a very sweet girl. I can get my foot rub for hours, what’s your favorite service to get at the nail shop?

When You Have A Hell Of A Day What Do You Eat

Do you ever have a day when you come home from work in need something really good to eat because it was that kind of day? Today is that day and I’m so glad I always stock my fridge with treats. This Is What I Love About Connecticut Sunday Mornings

It was so GORG out this morning that I had to go sit outside by the lake, wile enjoying a few glasses of champagne. It’s so quiet, so peaceful, just listening to the water relax me so much. This is one of my favorite past time, I wish I could spend more time out here but when the sun come out I have to go. Because of my lupus and the meds I burn really bad but I get my time in as much as I can…Look at this view!

Practicing Doing A Chunky Glitter Eye Makeup Look

Today I was trying out a fun glitter eye makeup look on one of my face muse, Kassie. It’s one of the makeup looks that I will be teaching at Sephora Beauty Cluster Class. I love contouring as much as the next makeup lover but I wanted this look to have one focus in that’s the eyes. I was very pleased with the flawless complexion I was able to give her thanks to the beauty blender. Oh, Don’t talk about the brows because I didn’t get there yet in this picture as well as my chip nail, hahaaaaa!

Beauty Blueprint Teaches Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists How To Get Work In The Beauty Industry

June 22,2016 | United States |
The best part about Beauty Blueprint is that you can get information about your career without leaving home. Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists take courses but no one teaches them on how to get work.
New York, United States, June 22,2016 — Connecticut Celebrity Makeup Artist Brandy Gomez-Duplessis was recently in New York at MUD School speaking to young up and coming makeup artists and hair stylists about getting started in the industry. She gave the graduating class a snippet of what Beauty Blueprint, her new consulting agency, is all about. Brandy coached the MUD students on what it will take to become a successful artist in the field. There are so many bloggers showing how to create makeup looks and hair styles but their are no professional makeup artists or hair stylists who actually work in the industry showing and speaking to talent on how to get work and the industry.

Gomez-Duplessis stated that this is why she started Beauty Blueprint. She would get students graduating from a makeup school with certificate in hand but clueless on where to start, who to call, and what to do. Brandy wants others to book her consulting service even if they were in smaller towns and could not get to New York to meet with her. With all of the technology we have Gomez-Duplessis said consulting with her clients over Skype is the best way to do business, it’s still personal and intimate. The client can decide how often they would need her service.
Brandy said when she started in the industry, she lived in New Orleans and didn’t have a manager or a publicist. She found her road on how to be a high demand makeup artist and wants to share tips, tricks, and best practices on what worked for her. I worked with so many A-List celebrities because I knew how to brand myself. So with Beauty Blueprint clients can now hire me to learn how to build themselves as a branded in demand artist or stylist.
