By now you all know my life challenges and I never let it stop me from living a positive and prosper life. It’s perfect that my health does not allow me to have any negative & stressful people around me. If so, I bounce, literally. I’ve learned that nothing is worth me having a flare up. Now something things I can’t control like mother nature and the weather that’s something I have to deal with. But fulfilling myself my dreams doing what I’m passionate about is something that I can control. So I stay away from anyone or anything that’s not positive. Maybe I do live in a fantasy world wanting happiness around me. Today like everyday I’m doing simple things that makes me happy. It’s ok if it’s not for everyone but it makes me smile.

Saying Prayers For Nick Cannon While In The Hospital Again Due To Lupus

On no, not again, I just heard that my boy Nick Cannon is once again in the hospital due to his lupus flaring up. It seems like it’s a bad one because his doctors are keeping him for a few days. So Christmas Day he will be spending it in the hospital, #LupusSucks! I’ve been there, not being able to celebrate with family & friends and inconvenience others to stop in come out to visit can be a pain. I know Nick is going to come out running ready to catch up with work that he won’t rest, I know cause that’s what us Lupus Warriors do. That’s our problem we don’t know how to rest. I’m saying prayers that you get better fast so you can kick off 2017 with a bang, #Ncredible

Behind The Scenes At A New York Photo Shoot

The fabulous and gorgeous Founder and Executive Director Zulema Arroyo-Farley of Artz Cure Sarcoma was recently featured in Ocean Drive Puerto Rico magazine. The photo shoot was shot at her beautiful home on the Upper East Side in New York. Zulema is being featured because of her fight with sarcoma and how she work really hard at bringing awareness to sarcoma. Zulema and I met through a mutual friend Lifestyle Blogger Nashelly of Fabulatina. This superwoman Zulema not only is fighting sarcoma she’s also fighting lupus, so that’s how we bonded. I’m always so proud of Zulema, she just never stop, she goes hard everyday. So when she asked me to be a part of her glam team I was definitely honored. This photo shoot was so FAB, I took tons of pics & videos to share with you. If you have time check out her site because this beauty has a great story.

Sunday Afternoon Was A Chill Day For Me

Before heading to work I stopped at Wendy’s to get a large bowl of chili. It’s so nippy outside that I just wanted something comforting, cuz a salad wasn’t going to do today.

I only went in for a few hours to clean the display counter with Clorox bleach and to place a Jane Iredale makeup order. We are out of stock on many items from the week so I wanted to get a order together since I’m off on Monday & Tuesday.

Hubby did a great job with selecting these pink & red roses. How sweet of him. He also brought Amy flowers on Saturday at the launch party. He selected the right colors of roses that they actually matched her dress.

Before I left the house this morning I put a little bit of everything in the crock pot to make a spicy gumbo. Still needed a few more ingredients but overall it was delicious! Dinner is now served I’m ready for The Walking Dead tonight, what about you?

Happy Birthday To Self…Queen B

I made it another day…YAY!!!! I am just elated to enjoy another year. Right now it seems that my lupus is in remission. I have been doing really well not having any health problems. That’s enough for me to celebrate in be bless about that.

Tonight is all about me, QUEEN B! so I’m going to have a glamxurious evening! See Ya Bye Luv U Mean It!

Fun Day In NY For NYFW At A NARS Cosmetics Event

In the morning I always start off my day enjoy a nice cup of tea from Donna Karan New York Blend (chamomile, ginger roots, & peppermint). I’ll go sit on the deck and just collect my thoughts and then I’ll have my time with GOD, thanking him for getting me through another day. As you know by now with Lupus, Lyme, & RA, I may look good on the outside but my body thinks I’m about 90yrs old. What I luv about the ladies I’ll be with today they both understand my health issue in they don’t push me to do things are get in there feelings when I can’t do things. Thanks Ilse for my GORG mug, anything NY or NOLA I luv!

Makeup Artist Chat Makeup

This is what happens when you leave a teen with your computer. They find old videos and and put together this…I actually think she did a good job. I have so much footage that I can probably make a movie from all of my travels and assignments doing makeup. I’m happy that she was able to find all my old files in hopefully can do something with my videos that’s just taking up space on my hard drive.

Weird thing is I have not aged!

Normally I’m on the other of the camera side helping with makeup but today I was the talent at this photo shoot. I am so elated about what’s coming up in September. I look forward to sharing with you all the new chapter in my life. This is one of many photo shoots that a fabulous business woman is orchestrating for me.

Makeup Monday Was All About Makeup


Good Morning! Started my day off very early in New Milford, CT getting a client makeup ready for her bridal photos. Then rushed home got ready for a lunch meeting. When your passionate about something you can chat for hours. Maghen & I brainstormed talking about our favorite topics, hair & makeup. Can’t wait to share with you what we’re working on.
