Christmas Eve O’ Christmas Eve


My day started at the salon from 10am-3pm. It was a fun filled day with over 50+ appointments. Co-Owner Rebecca Sullivan Baglio of Romeo Baglio Design was my first client this morning. A girl always need makeup & lashes for the holidays right? Rebecca also gifted me with a bottle of Champagne & a bottle of Philosophy Cinnamon Buns Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath. She’s a girl that knows my heart, thanks Rebecca! My last client of the day was the fab Laura & Charlotte Cantwell. I always enjoy chatting with Laura, she’s a cool lady!


Before the day was over we had to do a Whip Salon photo shoot with the staff

Ended my evening sitting by the fireplace while sipping on wine. We waited for Envy to return home before we started our Christmas Eve celebration. By 11pm I was out that I didn’t help Michael wrap the kids gifts. So he was solo, thank goodness he’s reliable because I definitely dropped the ball.

I Luv The Christmas Window Displays In New York

I’m such a kid at heart, I live for this day. Being in New York City with the family, drinking hot chocolate & viewing the window displays on 5TH Ave. I have to be very careful so I make sure to layer my clothes so that I don’t have a flare up. I hate having this much clothing on but I do what I have to do to stay healthy.

Here are some of my favorite windows. I wish I could have taken more but my hands were freezing.

Sunday Night Out With The Girls

A much needed girls night was needed with Ilse & Daisy. After work I met up with my girls at Mezon Tapas Bar & Restaurant on Mill Plain Road in Danbury. Ilse selected the spot because she always pick the best place for girls day or girls night. We had a lot to celebrate, Daisy birthday & her dream job becoming a M.A.C makeup artist. The other topics was business, business, & business for 2017. The next day I texted Annya with all the notes because she wasn’t able to meet up with us on short notice. I’m so glad we managed to get together before the new year to organize our blueprint.

My Daisy is 21 years of age, she’s legal to drink now!

Behind The Scenes At A New York Photo Shoot

The fabulous and gorgeous Founder and Executive Director Zulema Arroyo-Farley of Artz Cure Sarcoma was recently featured in Ocean Drive Puerto Rico magazine. The photo shoot was shot at her beautiful home on the Upper East Side in New York. Zulema is being featured because of her fight with sarcoma and how she work really hard at bringing awareness to sarcoma. Zulema and I met through a mutual friend Lifestyle Blogger Nashelly of Fabulatina. This superwoman Zulema not only is fighting sarcoma she’s also fighting lupus, so that’s how we bonded. I’m always so proud of Zulema, she just never stop, she goes hard everyday. So when she asked me to be a part of her glam team I was definitely honored. This photo shoot was so FAB, I took tons of pics & videos to share with you. If you have time check out her site because this beauty has a great story.

Friday Was Really A Sexy Day At Work

Can I just say that today was EVERYTHING! I was so busy with so many different services that I was definitely fulfilled with it all. I wish that I had two more hands to help capture my day today. I luv when I get booked for a variety of services; pretty pouts, sultry eyes, eye brow shaping, glam makeup, lashes, and makeup lessons.

One of my clients today was Rosemarie who came in to do a makeup lesson with me. I actually enjoy my Makeup Lessons & What’s In Your Bag services because I really get to learn my clients. I get to look into their makeup bags to see what makeup goodies they like. Rosemarie and I had such a great time I don’t even know how we finished it on time.

It’s 6pm so let the Holiday Stroll begin, the stroll was from 6pm-8pm. We had a great turn out, Art Meets Makeup Artistry. I met a lot of great people tonight, kids, teens ladies, & men. I wish I had time to capture pics of artist Allison Meyler the other person who was a part of this cool art event with me. #HERESJOHNNY

Holiday Glam Makeup Class At Whip Salon

I’m always so excited about my After Hours Makeup Class at Whip Salon. Tonight class was called Holiday Glam. I thought this would be perfect because many of you will be attending so many parties this month. Not everyone will be able to come see me so I thought this would be a nice way to help my ladies out.

Johnny did a great job as always greeting the ladies, making sure that everyone is taking great care of. Being an upcoming makeup artists this is such a great event for him to sit in on because he can now learn a lot of tips & tricks.My model tonight was Kassie, she’s such a sweet girl that I have taken under my wings.

Private Holiday Shopping Event At Lucy’s Westport

Today was a fun filled day for me. I spent half the day at Whip Salon and the other half at Lucy’s Westport. Lucy’s had a fancy private holiday shopping event for their customers at the Westport location from 4pm-8pm. Their customers were treated to hors d’oeuvres, wine, sparkling water, and a celebrity makeup artist-moi!

Lisa & Patrice were excellent hosts to their guest. Their staff was just as lovely engaging and being personal shoppers for their customers. My partner for the afternoon was makeup artist Daisy. She helped me out with pampering the ladies with makeup. We had such a nice time in Westport, luv all of the fashonista we met. Anytime a woman would come out in that horrible weather she must luv fashion. But if you saw the fab clothing that Lucy’s sell your understand why the event was successful. If your just starting your holiday shopping definitely make a trip to do your shopping for that fancy lady in your life at Lucy’s Westport & Ridgefield. Below you will find pics from the event.

When Abstract Art Meets Makeup Artistry At Whip Salon

How Was Your Thanksgiving?

I don’t know about you but this year I wasn’t ready for Thanksgiving. With so much going on plus being busy at work I really could have slept through this holiday. Wednesday night I manage to get up to start playing around with my table. Every holiday I look forward to dressing my table with a different theme. The kids luv that I do this now that the kids are older they help with ideas. I’ve never decorated with a traditional Thanksgiving theme my creative mind just luv having fun with it.

Two things that I didn’t get to do yesterday was stop by Leslie Glover Toran home & turn on the fireplace. After all that cooking I chilled with the family.  Like everyone else we were all to full to do anything else. I managed to get another breathing treatment in while we watched a movie. Working those 13 days straight I didn’t have time to do them so I was definitely overdue. My body started flaring on Monday after I got off.

Just like my table I don’t usually cook traditional Thanksgiving dishes. I take my time with my menu to make sure I give each family member a dish that they crave and/or luv.

 

 

 

 


My plate for the evening, the only thing missing is the sauteed crabs. I ate that after my treatments.
