The Ladies Of Ridgefield CT Take New York

Last night at Whip Salon it was a girls night out feeling. We had a group of Ridgefield ladies book the salon for both hair & makeup. They were attending The Fresh Air Fund’s Fall Benefit at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers in New York. It was definitely a glam evening of fabulous fashion, bling jewelry & lots of sexy shoes. Here’s a peek inside of the Ridgefield women getting ready for a night out on the town to the big apple.

Wendy has become my muse…she let’s me do fun makeup looks on her.

I had so much fun with Linda. She always wanted a smokey makeup look so I gave her a soft smokey eye. By New Year’s she will be ready for one of my glamxurious looks.

Fun Day At Work With The Mannequin Challenge 

Today was so much fun at work as we attempt to try the Mannequin Challenge. It’s a lot of work trying to get everyone to stand still. We could not stop laughing, moving, and blinking. We decided this will be a practice run in later go all out once we get my girl Amy, the marketing genius involved. Johnny and I came up with this idea 💡 to get all the staff including some of our clients in the next one. The only client in the one we did today is Maria Reyes, she was so excited about getting in the one we did today. Take a look but understand the next one with be HOTTTT!!

Creating Makeup Videos At Work Today

 

Johnny turned a regular day at work today into a production set for me at least. He suggested that we do a new post for one of my makeup services at Whip Salon called “What’s In Your Makeup Bag”. So here my crazy self go in suggest that we also do a video showing what’s really in my makeup bag. My poor Dior cosmetic bag is so full that I can’t even zip it because I’m afraid that I’ll break it. But what is a girl to do, I can’t help how much makeup I roll with daily, lol.

So below you will see a few funny videos that I think you will luv. I had a blast filming with Johnny. He goes hard for all of this, that’s why we make a great team.

If you pay close attention you will hear Johnny say “Quiet On Set” luvvvvvv!!!! Johnny was my inspiration of making the video black & white because he had this Hollywood classic look going on. I wish you could appreciate his fashion today.

A New Makeup Shipment Came In Today

You wanna know what makes me happy…Anything makeup! Whenever I get a new shipment of makeup in, it always feel like Christmas. So when Jane Iredale makeup order came in today I was so happy for the recipients. The ladies that attended my “After Hours” makeup class at Whip Salon all received 10% off the makeup they purchased. So I’m putting together everyone goodies so that they can have these  must have OMG makeup. I know when I buy new makeup I look forward to getting home to play. I’m sure they will be happy when they get a call today. Ok, gotta go…makeup is calling!

What’s In Your Makeup Bag

Today my first “What’s In Your Makeup Bag” at Whip Salon was with Amy Conciatori Colamaria. She came in with her basket full of makeup & makeup brushes! Amy had some goodies, I was impressed. After going through her makeup bag we threw out some old things and I taught Amy how to use the products that she had by applying a full makeup application on her. I gave her lots of tips & tricks for her to use when she’s home doing her own makeup. What a fun 1 hour spent  with Amy. She’s awesome luv her energy/personality. Lots of Prosecco & laughter within that hour that I had a blast with her. Through the laughter Amy managed to write down a lot of the customize tips that I gave her for her under eyes challenge. I can’t wait to hear the feedback when Amy return to see if she walked away with learning at least 3  things.

How A Makeup Artist & Beauty Blogger Spend A Day At A Makeup Showroom

I always feel at home whenever I’m invited over to Absolute New York showroom. I’m a big fan of their makeup, using it almost on every assignment that I work. I luv how highly pigmented the makeup is. They photographed really well whenever I use on photo shoots, for TV assignments regardless if it’s HD or not and I always use their makeup at fashion shows. When Alex reached out to me I knew it had to be something cool because he never disappoint, check out the last video.

Since my last visit Absolute New York has launched so many new items that Alex  told me to go to town. A dream day for any Makeup Artist  & Beauty Blogger.
