Essence Magazine puts on one of the hottest music events in the US every year with The Essence Music Festival. Being a celebrity makeup artist in New Orleans and New York, keeping some of the beauty editors, music artists, and clients’ makeup flawless during July at The Essence Music Festival in New Orleans with the added humidity is always my number one priority. My challenge every year is makeup that can withstand the summer heat.  The battle women have to deal with is how to keep their makeup from melting in the summer heat (never letting the guys see us sweat).
Before heading to New Orleans, here are my must have’s to help you look glamxurious. Now you can look and feel fabulous as you walk the streets of New Orleans and party the night away at the Superdome. Don’t let The Essence Music Festival 2011 line-up be the HOTTEST thing. Â
