Hawaii Living: Saturday Afternoon Hanging Out In Waikiki

img_4320-1Aloha…When living in Hawaii, one thing for sure you can always find is a beautiful beach, a breathtaking hiking trail, and even a mermaid cave to hangout in on the weekend. I chose spending the day with the family in the fabulous Waikiki.

My first day in Hawaii my husband Co-worker took us to lunch at Duke’s restaurant in Waikiki and we drove passed Luxury Row. Before arriving here when I was doing digital interviews a lot of the beauty brands wanted me to work in Luxury Row. But I passed on all of the opportunities because of the distance Luxury Row is from our house. I’ve commuted so much in Connecticut to New York (1 and 45mins each way) that I didn’t want to drive 45 mins here to go to work. I guess you can saw I’m burnt out…but it’s nice to visit a few times a month.

You will also find Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki, another luxurious shopping mall. It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!! Inside you will find unique island boutiques, 110 distinctive stores and 30 unique dining destinations. So, if you looking to do some damage to your plastic cards, this is the shopping MEECA to do just that.

Had to walk over to the beach to check out the waves but unfortunately the waves wasn’t really happening today. It was definitely crowded with locals and tourists. Since we weren’t dressed to layout on the beach we kept it brief.

I made a quick 3 min video for you guys of my Saturday afternoon in Waikiki, I hope you enjoy.
