A Beauty Product to Help With Beauty Sleep

Have you heard the saying “I am getting my beauty sleep, but what about getting beauty products to improve sleep?”

I see it in my clients’ faces daily, sleep seems like a major problem. I think this is going to be a popular product because sleep is something that everyone doesn’t get or get enough of.

The Sleep Reform products rely upon what Murad has dubbed a Repair Enhancing Matrix with Gama-aminobyteric Acid (GABA), Methyl sulfonmethane (MSM) and vitamin C intended to amplify the depth and duration of sleep. Melatonin in the products aim to aid the skin’s sleep cycle to promote its ability to mend itself, while Oligopeptide-1 is meant to firm the skin, and Tocopheryl Acetate encourages healing. The serum is supposed to be applied before the user goes to bed.

Golden Globe here I come

I am still at the airport in route to Los Angeles. I have been in the airport since 6am and its now 11:48am. I am so exhausted that I don't have time to worry or get nervous about going to the Golden Globe. I have never been this is my first time so I really don't know have a clue about the set up. All, I know is that I am not going to the actress home any longer that part fell through. Now, I am working the glam lounge or the green room area. I had to do a background check, a personal credit check before I could even get this assignment. Same thing with Pepsi Smash VH-1 Concert for the Superbowl. I have to turn in additional paperwork I passed all the check. So, while here I am just going to go do me. I hope I did a good job with packing my makeup. I went to celebrate Jerome Holmes and Sergio owner of Mambo Mundo bday. Their bday kicked off latin night. I stayed out till 12am. The shoot was from 10am – 8pm that I didn't have time to clean my kit and pack. Went home shower changed clothes and headed to 360 for 1030pm. So, now I am at the airport tired and about to look at these pics from yesterday photo shoot. I need to get them done for Caribbean Posh Magazine. Deadline is on the 12th. This will be for the Feb/Mar issue. Ok, gotta go. Wish me luck at the GOLDEN GLOBE and on the RED CARPET.

Caribbean Posh Magazine Photo Shoot

The day started at 10am at Jerome Holmes Photography in Metairie. I had a total of 4 models for the day. The shoot is for Caribbean Posh Magazine spring issue FEB/MAR and my deadline to have the pictures turned in to Jan is Jan 12th. So I had to work to the end which was around 8pm.

Later that evening Jerome, Sergio and Elsa will be celebrating their B-DAY together at 360 nightclub at 10pm. I only plan to hangout til 12am cuz I had to get home.

Hollywood South Tonight…Mahalia Jackson Theater


Today has already been a crazy day. All of my clients today were for the Grand Opening event tonight at the Mahalia Jackson Theater. The second line is at 6:45 pm and the event starts at 7pm.

I needed to go pick up tickets for Brittany she is bringing her friend Joy. Go get hair supplies for tomorrow photo shoot for the Caribbean Posh Magazine at Jerome and Yolanda Holmes Studio in Metairie.

Tonight is Jordan report card/PTA so I had to go to that before going home to get ready for the event. I hurry and jumped in the shower, do makeup & hair and off Michael and I go on our date.




We arrive at 6:48 pm which is perfect because Michael did not want to see the second line. To say he is a local boy he does not like any of the New Orleans culture. This is why I am surprise that he wanted to come out to tonight’s event. All of the music artists are New Orleans finest, I think he wanted to spend time with me because of my upcoming crazy schedule; The Golden Globe, Sundance Film Festival, VH-1 Pepsi Smash Concert for the Superbowl. The crew was there and so many other faces I do not get to see often.



The Mahalia Jackson Theater looked amazing, they did such a great job. The seats that we were given were boxed seats and Brittany seats were in section 6 not to far from us. I told Michael if we come to see any shows or plays here I only want the box seats because you don’t have to deal with people walking in front of you it’s sectioned off but still on the lower level. Thanks guys for the great seats!!!












Let me say I enjoyed myself so much. All of the artists sung 2 songs and Freddy Omar,Jeremy Davenport & Ingrid Lucia, Marva Wright, Irma Thomas, and Kermit Ruffn had me moving in my seats and when Kermit hit the stage the crowd went crazy. It was a great show…and Michael actually enjoyed himself.
